'Donald Trump is dangerous to the future of America'
Democratic presidential contender Beto O'Rourke said on CNN's "State of then Union" Sunday that if you vote for President Donald Trump then you are probably racist.
"You said to me last week that you thought President Trump was a white nationalist," host Jake Tapper said. "President Trump won your home state of Texas by nine points. Almost 63 million Americans voted for him. Do you think it is racist to vote for President Trump in 2020?"
"I think it's really hard," O'Rourke responded after a long pause....

I guess Beto is a great example of why Red Flag law is a mistake. Because people like him think if your not liberal and your white you are a white nationalist. So I guess all of Trumps supporters should be denied guns.

Agreed. There is already a body of thought that conservatism is an illness - one little step away from "if you're a conservative you shouldn't have a gun".

I was amazed that anybody running for office could be so stupid (besides Hillary) as to disqualify themselves with 63 million voters, so I read it twice and watched the concomitant video in its entirety. He never said it.
No one cares what Beto thinks anyway, but I don't like being manipulated by news outlets.

I took it as he's saying that it's hard to be a person of good conscience (i.e. "not RACIST!!") and vote for Trump--knowing what has transpired since 2016.
