The "Uighurs" are suppose to be Turkic people, I guess, there are a number of Turkic people meaning that sounds like related to those in Turkey.

Turkey has called on China to close its detention camps following the reported death of a renowned musician from the ethnic Uighur minority.

Abdurehim Heyit is thought to have been serving an eight-year sentence in the Xinjiang region, where a million Uighurs are reportedly being detained.

A statement from Turkey's foreign ministry said they were being subjected to "torture" in "concentration camps".

China says the facilities are re-education camps.

I kind of wondered to myself if Turkey might eve comment on this situation.

That's almost funny, one murderous regime bitching about another murderous regime. Odd how Turkey didn't give a damn about China torturing and killing Christians, but when it comes to a muslim...........
