RFK Jr. can’t get his abortion story straight

.

When it comes to abortion, independent presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. is evolving his position so fast that it’s hard to keep track of what he actually believes.

On his campaign website, Kennedy says that he will maximize a woman’s ability to choose to have an abortion, but will reduce the number of abortions “by choice, not by force.”

“As President, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will make it easier for women to choose life,” the candidate’s website reads. “He will give them more choices than they have today, we will see a lot fewer abortions, and a lot more flourishing families.”

In a recent interview with the Catholic network EWTN, Kennedy said, “Every abortion is a tragedy” and that he would “like to maximize choice but also minimize the number of abortions that occur every year.”

But when it comes to establishing a limit on when abortions can take place, Kennedy has proven to be a moving target. Last August, the candidate said he supported an abortion ban after three months, before quickly walking it back and affirming that he “does not support legislation banning abortion.”

James Carville Melts Down over Failing Lawfare Attacks: Trump Is ‘More Ahead Than Ever – It’s Not Working!’

Frank Bergman  |  May 10, 2024 - 11:55 am

Longtime Democrat strategist James Carville has warned that efforts to use lawfare attacks against President Donald Trump are backfiring.

Carville, a former top political advisor to Bill Clinton, warned the Democrats that, despite their best efforts to destroy his campaign, Trump is now “more ahead than he’s ever been.”

In a video shared online, Carville melts down as he rants angrily that the Democrats’ anti-Trump tactics are “not working.”

He warns that cases against Trump have taken the media’s attention, meaning Americans have now forgotten about Jan. 6.

“It’s going the wrong way,” Carville said, waving his arms around in frustration.

“It’s not working!” he blasted.

“Everything we’re that throwing is spaghetti at a wall, and none of it is sticking, me included.

“We gotta try to think of something different,” he urged.

“Because what we’re doing is really, really not working.”

In other words, Carville openly admits that all these court cases were launched as part of the overall Democrat election strategy for2024.

Well, ya gotta give the an A+ for gall.

Myself, if I had visitors in my home that presented a list of demands they would be asked to leave. But that's just me.

I agree.  When I thought of the program, I was thinking of the years with Charlie Sheen.  It was a perfect role for him, and you could tell he enjoyed playing it.

I'm afraid that's exactly where he's going to wind up.  He keeps reflecting on poll numbers.  He needs to realize that poll numbers mean absolutely nothing if the election is stolen again, or if he's behind bars.

Trump says he would 'be very proud to go to jail for our Constitution' following court appearance

ormer President Donald Trump told reporters he would "be very proud to go to jail for our Constitution" as he took aim at those involved in the prosecution.

Trump's comments came as he spoke after the third week of his NY v. Trump trial came to an end on Friday.

"If anything's mentioned against certain people, and you know who they are, certain people, anything's even mentioned, he wants to put me in jail," Trump told reporters as he displayed various media articles about the trial. "That could happen one day and I'd be very proud to go to jail for our Constitution."

"What he's doing is so unconstitutional," Trump said, referring to Judge Juan Merchan. "There's never been anything like it."

Trump also took aim at Merchan for telling the prosecution to tell Michael Cohen not to make statements about Trump or the case overall. Thus far, Merchan has refused to place Cohen under a gag order, which the defense previously requested.

"There is no gag order to Michael Cohen. What the judge did was amazing. Actually, it was amazing. Everybody can say ... whatever they want, but I'm not allowed to say anything about anybody. It's a disgrace," Trump said. And you see it, the media sees it and it's really very sad. If you look at the legal experts and the legal scholars, every one of them say this trial is a scam."

During his remarks to reporters after court, Trump also took aim at President Biden after he "lied" about the rate inflation when he took office in 2021.

"So now he comes out and he actually says, I guess with a straight face, but I'm not sure he knows what he's saying anyway, that it was 9% under Trump," the former president said.

Trump said the happenings that are taking place inside the Manhattan courtroom represents "a very dark day for New York City, New York State, and it's a very dark day for our nation."

Trump also suggested that the case should be thrown out.................

Kristi Noem facing petition to remove her from office following dog-shooting story

A petition organized by the liberal group MoveOn to remove Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) from office reached over 23,000 signatures Friday.

The petition came after an excerpt from No Going Back: The Truth on What’s Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward revealed that Noem killed her 14-month-old hunting dog Cricket because it was “less than worthless” at hunting, attacked a neighbor’s chickens, and attacked the governor.

“Animal abusers should not be in office!” the petition reads. “Tell Noem to step down as governor immediately! … This most recent stunt confirms what we already know—Noem isn’t fit to be in office. There is no excuse for what Noem did to Cricket. She may not think her tough-on-crime approach should apply to her own misconduct, but, together, we can hold her responsible.”

This follows People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals releasing its own Halloween costume of Noem called “Cricket’s Revenge.” With the costume, people can dress up as the governor with an attacking wirehaired pointer.

The Washington Examiner reached out to Noem’s office for comment.

Radio Shows / Re: Do you listen to podcasts? Any recommendations?

I listen to lots of them. Right now my favorites (political) are “The A.M. Update” and “The Victor Davis Hanson Show”.
I also listen to a plethora of religion-based podcasts. “Conversations That Matter”, “Issues, Etc”, “Grace to You: Pulpit Podcast” and “A Word Fitly Spoken” to name a few.

My favorite is Michael Berry. He's the closest thing we have to Rush now.

Biden crosses the red line of decency

It’s a bad idea to tempt fate with the words, “Joe Biden has hit bottom and can’t sink lower.” This president can, it seems, always get worse.

Betraying Israel to pander to his far-Left voter base by cutting off arms supplies unless Jerusalem agrees to military micromanagement by the dotard in the White House is a new level of disgrace even for this awful administration.

Biden told CNN Wednesday night that he won’t send artillery shells and bombs to the Israel Defense Forces if they enter Rafah city, where a million Palestinians are being used as human shields by four brigades of Hamas terrorists.

“If they go into Rafah, I’m not supplying the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafah. … It’s just wrong,” he said.

What’s really wrong is, first, Biden limiting Jerusalem’s scope for action against an enemy that endlessly threatens and repeatedly attempts genocide against the Jews and, second, seeking to justify this with the lie that Israel takes too little care to avoid civilian casualties.

James Carville was once known for his quick wit and political acumen. But in a viral video, the longtime Democratic strategist appeared at his wits’ end over Donald Trump’s growing influence. Carville blasted the shifting political attitudes and growing support for Trump, despite the lasting implications of the January 6th Capitol breach.

“Fewer people think January 6th was an assault on the temple of democracy,” Carville said, exasperated. “We’re throwing spaghetti at a wall, and none of it is sticking, me included.” Facing his 80th birthday, Carville admitted he feels powerless. “I don’t matter. It doesn’t matter,” he said in a video on X. “You can prepare, be on TV, write, have a YouTube channel, a podcast, and nothing.”

Frustrated with the current messaging strategies, Carville acknowledged the need for a fresh approach. “We’ve got to try to think of something different because what we’re doing is really not working.”

As Trump continues to solidify his support, Carville’s candid remarks capture a sense of urgency within the Democratic camp, desperate to develop a strategy that can compete against the former president’s enduring influence.
