Title: 2016 Today's Toons Favorites: Results

After starting with >13,000 possibilities, the 8th annual Best Of Today's Toons is over & all the votes have been tallied. Neither hanging nor pregnant chads were encountered & Diebold equipment was not used. First, a few stats. 10 of the 61 finalists received 1st-place votes. Those items receiving no points are not included in the results. There were 13 valid entries received & thanks to all of you who took the time to vote!! Votes were cast, in order of preference, for between 1 & 10 of the finalists. Cartoonists/photoshoppers Mike Lester(4), Dixon Diaz(4), A.J. Branco(2) & Bob Gorrell(2) had multiple items in the finals. The method of scoring was as follows: A 1st-place vote received 10 pts., a 2nd-place vote earned 9 pts., ..., down to a 10th-place vote which got 1 pt. And now, the results:

Thanks, Pookie!  I was hoping to be able to vote in the final round, but have been too swamped at work to find the time to participate.  Looks like everyone else did a fine job, though.   :laugh:
