Even worse the printed money injected into the economy is counted as GDP... Which came out of thin air... Smoke and mirrors... Our situation is much worse than the government baked numbers indicate...

FJB!

All they have to do is lower the 'poverty level' (in further defiance of reality) and they get more money.

I miss the times they could be given a swat on the butt on the spot.

It worked, tantrum over, lesson learned, boundaries established.

Well, while you are at it, remove the tires, the plastic interior, the foam in the seats, along with the faux leather, the insulation from the wiring, the bumper shrouds, the light housings, etc. etc. etc. that is all derived from oil. Make a clean break.

Biden calls for middle-class tax hike

President Joe Biden has repeatedly said he won’t hike taxes on anyone earning less than $400,000, but then this week he promised on X to hike taxes on just about everyone.

Now, to be fair, Biden may not have understood that’s what he’s saying.

Letting the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act expire and “stay expired” would be a massive middle-class tax hike because the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was a massive middle-class tax cut. Yes, wealthy people also saw their taxes reduced by the TCJA, but the law actually shifted a greater portion of the tax burden onto the wealthy.

The TCJA doubled the child tax credit and the standard deduction while lowering everyone’s tax rates. Letting this law expire would cut the standard deduction in half, cut the child tax credit in half, and increase everyone’s marginal rates. Keep in mind that rich people don’t use the standard deduction, and the child tax credit phases out for the wealthy, and so these tax hikes would really only hit the non-rich.

A family of five earning $90,000 (slightly below the median in Biden’s home state of Delaware) would see its marginal tax rate jump from 12% to 15%, and would see its $6,000 in tax credits fall to $3,000 under the Biden plan.

Exactly.  There is no way that the DEMS can legitimately and constitutionally stay in power.  They know it. Going after Trump with the bogus Russia investigations, impeachments and now indictments ARE actually controlling the will of the People.

Regardless if you support Trump or not this should be a concern for all.  We have a corrupt DOJ and no longer have fair elections.

I've never foreseen Trump able to come out favorably as to what is being thrown at him now.

Another big concern is what power is Biden going to give the U.N. over America at the Summit in September.

IF Trump is 'dealt' with by the leftists there will likely be an uprising and the U.N. is seeking emergency powers at the Summit.  Anyone yet connecting the dots?  This has been my fear for quite sometime.

I know some see that the UN waiting in the wings with UN troops once America falls is nothing more than a conspiracy theory -- but maps of American gulag locations was once available for all to see; they were taken down years ago.  I hope that that conspiracy theory is dead wrong.
Notice, it seems that Alex Jones' old maps are no longer welcome, nor is he...except on 'X'.

I wish he's put those back up. We might need to know.

As for the UN, totalitarians of any nationality make worthy targets in the event of unpleasantries.

Why not?

It isn't their money. It's ours.

Turn your thermostats down in winter and up in the summer like the Carter years.

These Are The Students Biden Wants To Bail Out — With Your Money
I & I Editorial Board
April 25, 2024

It’s not entirely coincidental that just weeks after President Joe Biden announced his latest plan to cancel student loan debt, antisemitic protests broke out on elite college campuses across the country. Biden’s bailout schemes only embolden these entitled brats.

Students at some 18 colleges have staged anti-Israel “encampment” protests. At Columbia University (where a four-year degree will set you back north of $350,000), the protests got so out of hand and so virulently antisemitic that a rabbi at Columbia urged Jewish students to “return home as soon as possible” and the university moved to mostly hybrid classes.

This has been going on for more than a week at Columbia and, since colleges don’t have the stomach to stand up to students, protests have spread to Brown, New York University, MIT, Yale, Vanderbilt, Emerson, and Tufts, all of which cost well over $200,000 for an undergraduate degree, as well as other not-cheap schools, such as the universities of Michigan, Pittsburg, and North Carolina, the University of California, Berkeley and others.

Protesters have been heard shouting antisemitic slogans, namely “intifada” and “f–k Israel,” wearing keffiyehs and COVID masks, and carrying signs to “Honor The Martyrs Of Palestine” and express the solidarity of “trans people for Palestine.”

It’s these students who will, as soon as they graduate with their mostly useless four-year degrees in anthropology or peace studies or gender queer theory, start demanding that taxpayers cover the costs of their massive student loans.
