The Berlin Wall’s “moral abomination†came from its intent to trap people inside a communist system when they wanted to flee — at which it largely succeeded for its 28-year lifespan. East Germany arrested more than 5,000 people attempting to cross over it into West Berlin and freedom, and they shot and killed at least 191 people in the attempt. Only 5,000 crossed over into freedom during its three-decade abomination. They didn’t care a whit if anyone wanted to enter East Berlin.
If nothing else, you’d think that a cheerleader for socialism would know to avoid references like this. Nothing proved economist F.A. Hayek more correct in his seminal work The Road to Serfdom than the Berlin Wall’s erection. Hayek wrote that socialism’s inherent economic contradictions made failure inevitable, and socialist systems would produce leaders of greater brutality in attempts to impose success, leading inevitably to totalitarianism."

Sadly, AOC is on the world stage, and does more damage to the reputation of this great nation every time she opens her pie hole. She is proof positive that the education system in America is mediocre on a good day.
I used to think Boston University was a decent school, but if they are producing idiots like this, then I add one more school to my list of schools that have outlived their usefulness. What is worse is this bimbo has a minor in economics. Frankly, she was under qualified to be a bartender.

which surfaced late Monday, she talked about her life in Washington, DC, as a new member of Congress, calling it “super weird.â€
“Here in DC it’s like, so weird. It’s like everybody is like, a spy. Like, it’s so bizarre,†she said.
“It’s like — you could go out to get a coffee and the person that’s, like, sitting at a table in the corner of the restaurant is like, you know, like,†she said, as she made typing motions.
“Then they go and, like, they text all of their friends that they saw so-and-so at this cafe and it’s like, triangulation,†she continued. “And it’s super weird.†She also bemoaned the fact that it’s harder to blend in in DC than in New York.
“New York is really interesting because there’s a lot of anonymity out in public,†she said.

I agree, Brown's as bad as the rest of them. But he's going to be portrayed as a reasonable, more centrist version of a Democrat, and the media will go along with it to help the party.
