By Tal Axelrod - 06/15/19 10:40 AM EDT
President Trump asserted on Saturday there would be dire economic consequences should he lose the 2020 presidential race, leaning into his reelection slogan "Keep America Great."

Good grief! I wish he would quit making threats. What about the natural cycle of the markets? What about world events that no one can predict?
-
To an extent, the market levels today are predicated on taxes, interest rates, regulations and foreign policy positions of Trump's.
His statement is warning the DOW might drop with other policy makers back in power.
When Trump leaves office, he plans to resume eating babies.

There won’t be a market crash.

Good grief! I wish he would quit making threats. What about the natural cycle of the markets? What about world events that no one can predict?
What about his tarriffs and trade wars which, every time he makes threats along those lines, drive the markets down?
The markets would do better without him.

I consider that a threat.

I see it as a prediction rather than a threat. Trump can't make the market crash, that will be up to investors as they weigh the consequences of electing a communist who will destroy the private economy.

Weird, because all the other market problems, so far, were because of Jerome Powell.
