....“The women did not solicit the messages, which they told colleagues were deeply upsetting and offensive. One of the recipients said that when she replied to Bolling via text, telling him never to send her such photos again, he did not respond. Four people, outside of the recipients, confirmed to HuffPost they’d seen the photo, and eight others said the recipients had spoken to them about it. ...

Interesting, I think Dennis Michael Lynch had a show for a brief time on Newsmax, so I do know who he is in this. He seemed okay. Sort of like Buck Sexton I'd say, if one were to make comparisons. Fairly trustworthy.
-
I wonder if it is Sean Hannity.

Can't be Shepard Smith, because he would send it to the male employees.

Perhaps. But the story originated with HuffPo and I don't trust them. I also don't trust the alleged accusers. Never know if they are telling the truth or looking for free money or just their 15 minutes of fame. Guess we'll find out if this matter ends up in court. Maybe.
-
This is suspect.
Seriously. Is there ANY guy with half a brain that thinks sending unsolicited penis pics is a good idea? Someone with a great career in broadcasting?
Yeah. Call me skeptical.
-
Just what percentage of the population does this crap? Good grief. Speaking as a guy, I never once thought that would be the thing to send anyone. The female form is beautiful, but of all things, "that" is not even in the realm of what I would consider anything but vulgar.

I don't understand it, but it's a thing...
Being single, I hit CL personals every now and then... And it is fairly common for posts within 'women seeking men' to include instruction wrt pics... 'Face pics only', 'no pics of your junk plz'... etc
Oddly enough, no such commentary seems to be necessary from those posting in 'men seeking women'.
Go figger. :shrug:

In my younger wilder days, I knew some guys who, if the technology had existed back then, would have done something like that. Some guys think they are the only ones who have it or that theirs is so wonderful that they think a woman would swoon if she saw a mere image of it. I can't speak for other women, but trust me fellas, if you've seen one, you've seen them all.
Sending a woman such an image is something maybe some dumb teenager might do, but a guy Eric Bolling's age and maturity-- no. Unless he's one of those guys who never grew up, but that just doesn't sound like Eric Bolling.

I'm with you on this but apparently there are a number of males who do think it's a good idea. At least at the time.

There seems to be a pattern of behavior at FOX.

I guess it's Eric's turn to go on *vacation*

It's also part of a pattern to destroy Fox. I'm not sure what to believe at this point.

I'm probably going to regret asking, but what does this mean? People shouldn't be upset about receiving via text message a picture they don't want of genetalia?

This happened several years ago and someone is just now coming forward about it....they must have really been offended then! *****rollingeyes*****

Yes, odd isn't it?

I don't believe Eric Boling did anything of the sort! Some jackass who managed to get into his e-mail did it for him IF it happened at all!
-
Yes, odd isn't it?
I should add: I don't particularly like Eric Bolling and don't watch him when he's on.
-
I was wondering why his show "Cashing In" was not on this morning. He is a big Trump supporter and has a best-seller now. Was he set up? Was he so foolish as to do what is alleged? :shrug:

You know, it could be as easy as almost anyone with a big enough ego to host a television show has had a few missteps over the years. And, if you are going after a certain group, say Trump supporters, those missteps could have been collected, cataloged and now pulled out and showcased for maximum effect. Or, they could be false claims, though most up to now seem to have had some truth to them.

As an EMT, I can say every human body has a way to eliminate byproducts of food and liquids and a way to make children. People hung up on these human parts did not pass potty training and that is my professional opinion. :)

They celebrate perversion yet pretend to be offended by the slightest act when committed by a non liberal. Weiner did this repeatedly with girls he knew to be minors and they defended him. The celebrate perversion at their gay pride parades where this would be a insignificant act. They fight for confused males to have access to women's bathrooms.
Of course this is vulgar behavior but hardly national news.

Not only would they have celebrated it, they would have persecuted the men who complained. I wonder what Bollings defense will be, will he insist that his account was hacked? Maybe he will off to submit a picture of his dingle to compare the angle of dangle to the other.

@driftdiver
I hope Bowling didn't do this. Gay parades: Gay men surely didn't pass potty training. Gay men say they want to be treated equally, then have parades with them dressed in ridiculous outfits, certainly differently than non gays dress, showing they are not equal to non gay people.
A few years ago, I came across a report from a reporter who filmed a street area of San Francisco that was dedicated to gay guys wearing no clothes if they wanted to do that. The pictures were made so one didn't see the naked parts unless you double clicked on the person. I double clicked on a few of them and there they were in all their naked glory. They were walking/standing on the street and there were pictures of them seated naked in restaurants. The restaurants had put a towel or something like a towel, on all the chairs so the naked parts would not be sitting directly on the chair. But, hey, they want to be treated just like non gays. As a straight person I would not be on those streets dedicated to naked gays. There is no way they are equal to straights when they do that.
If they want to be treated equally, they should wear clothes and shut up talking about being gay. We straight people don't go around telling others we are straight people.

The best argument against public nudity isn't the moral part....it's the hygienic and aesthetic aspect that upsets me. Sure as shootin' most of the nudies will be gross, disgusting, male pigs. Think of where these people might have sat and then having to sit there yourself...and I doubt most will have towels.
Keep America beautiful...keep people clothed in public. :nono:

I know a few women on facebook and twitter who have just started doing this. Naming and shaming. One even started tracking down the perv's mothers and sending them a 'look what your son is doing' messages.

This was my first thought as well: This behavior is not just for the ruling class and the celebrity class, but also for the media class. It goes on and nobody does anything about it beciase accusing somebody is a death sentence for the whistle blower.

Actually reads like he has a political axe to grinde frankly.
I've collected literally hundreds of statments from people who have lost their parents, brothers, sisters, uncle and aunts to hyper-partisan right wing radicalism. This real life issue was amazing displayed in the documentry "The Brainwashing Of My Dad" by the directed Jen Senko.
So my dear Fox News Addicts: Is watching this ethically, morally and cultural corrupt hyper-partisan right wing propaganda production and broadcast machine really WORTH poisoning your family, losing contact with your kids or brother or sister and poisoning long held and valued friendships?
I was neck deep in this poisoning of parents, families and our political system. My mission now is to provide the unvarnished truth and tools for families and friendships broken up by parents, brothers, sisters and uncles/aunts who have literally become Fox News addicts to start to heal those relationships.

That's some weird stuff:
... Those of you who follow me and are Fox News fans or addicts...this is just ONE of the reasons that prove you are addicted to a cultural, moral and ethical cesspool that is not only poisoning America's political system, it's also
1) poisoning families (where elderly FNC addicts become estranged from their grown kids and grandchildren by their hyper-partisan radicalized ranting and raving)
2) poisoning long standing friendships and
3) isolating 65+ aged parents creating such profound loneliness for them that UC San Francisco public health research now shows these folks whose radicalized behavior estranges them from family and friends have 45% HIGHER LIKELIHOOD of premature death.

@AbaraXas
I'm repeating myself, but I think Fox News was run like some kind of early 60s Mad Men time bubble, where the guys could slap the butts of the girls and the girls were expected to keep shut. if they knew what was good for them.
Tobin writes about elderly Fox News fanatics who have been isolated from friends and family because of their nonstop political raving. It made me think of the yearly Freeper Christmas thread, where many of them come together and brag that they're alone for the holiday because they told their relatives to go to hell.

There's a pathetic existence.
Now that my mom is gone I'm probably the single most conservative member of the family on that side but I will not abandon my family over political disagreements.
Family ties are a big part of what keeps this nation intact.

Its kind of interesting. As our family gets smaller we are combining with other local families that are getting smaller. The core of our family consisting of my aunts and uncles, my sisters and myself have more than 60 years of history between us. Stan was my grandfather's best friend and went to enlist to fight in WWII on the same day as my grandfather. I've got 2 of my high school teachers showing up at family events and my 5th grade teacher was also invited now that her husband is gone.
As we get smaller we get bigger.

Foxnews was more likely run like most of media and many big corporations. Full of people with "modern" morals in New York City who work long hours away from their families. People of both genders play the sex game to get what they want.

The fact is that 'some' women like to hang around the rich and powerful. Some women would be thrilled to get this kind of attention from that rich and powerful person.
The language he used was crass and vulgar. I'd wager a very high percentage of men & women have used similar language at some point in their life. Doesn't make it acceptable but all are imperfect.

@CatherineofAragon
Women have been subject to sexual harassment for eons. Before I had finished my degrees, I worked in the business department at an oil company. I took a report to the man who owned the company and handed it to him. He said, pointing at my chest, "Are those real? I said, 'You need to stick to the numbers on that sheet." When I again took something to him, he said, "I would like you to go with me to my house at the lake." I said, "My husband and I would like going there." Then, I told my supervisor what was said both those times, and asked not to be sent to his office again. He told me the woman who had my job before me, had an affair with him.
Later, when I had two degrees, Texas law said I needed a supervisor to have an office of my own. A friend told me his friend "x" would probably do it. I contacted that person, met with him and he said he would do it if I had an affair with him. I turned that down. Then, Texas law changed and I didn't need a supervisor.
I don't think those two instances would happen today, at least I hope not.
-

There is audio of Trump saying he did it during a private conversation. You don't have a criminal complaint or evidence that it actually happened.
-

Trump never confessed to committing sexual assault.

I contacted that person, met with him and he said he would do it if I had an affair with him. I turned that down. Then, Texas law changed and I didn't need a supervisor.
I don't think those two instances would happen today, at least I hope not.
Oh they would & do happen today. Only today there is a much higher chance of it being committed by a woman. Its happened to me.
In my experience about 20% of women in the workplace are more than happy to use sex to further their career. Whether thats using it to influence their manager, get a raise or to manipulate coworkers.
I worked for a telecom part where the Christmas party was held in a hotel. I never went but heard many stories of how many shared their rooms multiple times over that weekend.
-
There is audio of Trump saying he did it during a private conversation. You don't have a criminal complaint or evidence that it actually happened.
So I guess we can only take Trump at his word when it feeds the fantasies of his true believers and idolaters, but not otherwise?
-
Trump never confessed to committing sexual assault.
He confessed to doing acts sufficient to constitute sexual assault.
-
So I guess we can only take Trump at his word when it feeds the fantasies of his true believers and idolaters, but not otherwise?
I'd think you'd have heard of hearsay. Surely the California Bar includes that concept?!

@Cripplecreek
Women have been subject to to sexual harassment for eons.
You've probably seen the Barbara Stanwyck film made in thirties "Babyface."
Stanwyck plays a young, ambitious woman who uses her sexual allure to climb the business ladder. After using one man after another, she ditches them. Can't remember how the film ended, but it was well known even in those times how lecherous men with power tried to take advantage of comely female employees. The film was a little revenge on those men.
And my mother told me of how during WWII while working in a factory in Milwaukee with a friend, one foreman tried to take advantage of many of the young women working in the plant.
Another story. I used to have a supervisor at a former place of employment who thought he was God's gift to women even though he looked like a small gargoyle.
One person who was there told me of a time he went on a business trip with this character and another guy who worked for the company.
After a business meeting they went to a restaurant. The waitress who served them was a pretty, young woman who my supervisor (also a terrible alcoholic) creep immediately started chatting up and making lewd suggestions to.
After the dinner was over and the guys all went back to their hotel, the other company man who was there at the restaurant told my creep boss if he ever heard him talking to a waitress like that again in his presence, he was going to beat the fecal matter out of him.

@Oceander
Yes unlike when we on the right excoriate a Dem for accusations of sexual assault even when no criminal complaint is made...we can't take the audio of a person claiming all you have to do is grab a woman between the legs as an admission of some kind of sexual wrong doing.
Trump can do no wrong...we're just supposed to laugh it off as boys being boys. And we need to stop being so obsessed about sex.
We only take things like that at face value when it's a Dem.
-
He confessed to doing acts sufficient to constitute sexual assault.
No he did not. He bragged about being so rich and famous that his "groupies" let him do whatever he wants. That is not sexual assault.

@txradioguy
Nice way to make broad general statements condemning a whole bunch of people. Nobody has said it wasn't wrong. Nobody has laughed it off. What people do laugh at is the idiotic statement that its a confession of sexual assault.
It was crass locker room language. Have you never uttered an inappropriate word?
-
No he did not. He bragged about being so rich and famous that his "groupies" let him do whatever he wants. That is not sexual assault.
Oh?
Four women who have accused Donald Trump of sexual assault vowed Saturday they would not back down now that he is president.
Temple Taggart, Summer Zervos, Jessica Drake and Rachel Crooks joined their attorney Gloria Allred at a press conference in Washington, D.C. hours before the Women’s March on Washington was to begin. The accusers joined the protest afterward, saying they were marching to “stand up to bullies” and support victims of sexual harassment.
Allred called her clients “courageous” and unafraid of threatened counter-suits from Trump.
“I do not believe that any woman who alleges that she was sexually assaulted should ever be bullied. … Women cannot be silenced,” she said.
Taggart, a former Miss Utah, claimed Trump kissed her on the lips twice without her consent at the 1997 Miss USA pageant and again in a meeting at Trump Tower. Trump has said he doesn’t know who she is.
http://nypost.com/2017/01/21/woman-accusing-trump-of-sexual-assault-refuse-to-back-down/
Beauty pageant contestants accused Mr Trump of walking into their dressing room when they were not fully clothed, an activity that Mr Trump admitted to during an interview with radio host Howard Stern.

Here in Tampa there are certain restaurants/bars where the professional athletes hang out. They are full of very attractive young 'ladies' hoping to catch one of them millionaire baseball players.
For me? Heck I can't even get served a drink.

Nice way to make broad general statements condemning a whole bunch of people. Nobody has said it wasn't wrong. Nobody has laughed it off.
Ever single blind follower here of Trump has excused away what he said...how he's treated women in the past.
Every single excuse for bad behavior that the Dems used to defend Billy Jeff has been used to defend Trump for behaving the same way.
What people do laugh at is the idiotic statement that its a confession of sexual assault.
If I made the same kind of statement on audio tape...guess what I'd be charged with?
It was crass locker room language. Have you never uttered an inappropriate word?
You do realize you're using the exact same type of excuses the Dems used when Clinton was accused of sexual assault and harassment right?

@txradioguy Just who are these blind followers? Is that anyone who doesn't condemn the President for every single little breath he takes? Seems you are more blind than anyone else here.
You wouldn't be charged with anything. Unless there was a crime reported. In fact the only thing for which there is proof is that the tapes were illegally leaked. Do you still believe in innocent until proven guilty? Or is mob rule the speed you're at now?
But its funny that you use the Dems as a comparison considering that you NTs parrot the Dem talking points day in and day out.
-
@txradioguy
When Trump was married to his first wife, he used her plastic surgeon to cut away the hairless part of his scalp and connect the two remaining parts with hair together. At home, he was hurting and blamed her for having that surgeon, then he pulled a large clump of her hair out, saying he wanted her to hurt like he was. She got out of the room, went upstairs to another bedroom and locked the door.
If he hurts, others should hurt and he will make it happen.
-
@txradioguy Just who are these blind followers? Is that anyone who doesn't condemn the President for every single little breath he takes?
Well no that you've identified yourself...
Seems you are more blind than anyone else here.
Nope I see him for what he is. I criticize him when he steps on it...and praise him when he does something good.
My eyes are wide open where Trump is concerned.
You wouldn't be charged with anything.
Yeah I would and you know it. It's the world we live in these days. But because you HAVE to defend Trump...you'll never admit that.
Unless there was a crime reported.
Nope that not how it works these days.
In fact the only thing for which there is proof is that the tapes were illegally leaked.
Ahhh yes the ONLY crime that the Trump blind legion believes happened. *****rollingeyes*****
Do you still believe in innocent until proven guilty?
I do.
And I also believe that people who are rich like Trump believe they are above the law and can buy or bury their way out of any wrong doing they might commit in their lives.
Different spanks for different ranks.
Or is mob rule the speed you're at now?
Nah that's Trump's crowd.
But its funny that you use the Dems as a comparison considering that you NTs parrot the Dem talking points day in and day out.
That's kinda rich coming form someone using the Clinton defense strategy from 1997 to defend Trump from the same allegations.
-
No he did not. He bragged about being so rich and famous that his "groupies" let him do whatever he wants. That is not sexual assault.
That speaks volumes about how horrible Trump is, and about how horrible the company he keeps is. The lot of them are disgusting animals.
-

@goodwithagun
It speaks to how a significant portion of this country is. I didn't want him but he's the President. Its time to make lemonade because if anyone thinks the problem can be solved by forcing him out of office then they are indeed a fool.

@Victoria33 the Trump faithful here would tell you that she deserved it for sending her husband to a lousy plastic surgeon.

You get from me exactly what you deserve. Which isn't much considering you're still trotting out the lie that anyone here...including myself wanted Hillary in office.
That's pretty much the lame reply of last resort for a lot of people around here.

You Trump fans are doing Trump no good service by calling anyone that didn't vote for him a fool, ya know. In fact, you are doing more harm (to that cause) than good. I've tried to explain that to a couple of other Trump fans here, to no avail. Would be nice if you would finally 'get it'.
I am by no means a fool for not voting for Trump. The last pretenda Republican I voted for was McCain. Never.... and I do mean NEVER.... again.
When DC comes up with a candidate that has a solid history of embracing, espousing and representing the conservative values I hold dear.... I might consider voting GOP again. I sure as hell won't be holding my breath for that to happen though....considering the current reality we're in.

Seriously you think there was a chance of a 3rd person winning the election?
Really?

I may be; who knows. But that doesn't change the fact that you're an isolator who worships Donald Trump.

There's a pathetic existence.
Now that my mom is gone I'm probably the single most conservative member of the family on that side but I will not abandon my family over political disagreements.
Family ties are a big part of what keeps this nation intact.

It's like trying to keep up with a fast tennis match.

I don't work at FOX News and I don't know what kind of culture they have behind the scenes, but anyone can be accused of anything but if they have pictures of his organ on the female staffers phone, he'll have some explaining to do.
I guess I'm old fashion. I don't believe the first place you should see your date's genitalia is on your phone
-
Foxnews was more likely run like most of media and many big corporations. Full of people with "modern" morals in New York City who work long hours away from their families. People of both genders play the sex game to get what they want.
@driftdiver
That's an opinion which flies in the face of the firings and the numerous women coming forward. It seems Fox has a culture problem.
-
The fact is that 'some' women like to hang around the rich and powerful. Some women would be thrilled to get this kind of attention from that rich and powerful person.
The language he used was crass and vulgar. I'd wager a very high percentage of men & women have used similar language at some point in their life. Doesn't make it acceptable but all are imperfect.
@driftdiver
That's right. Blame the women who were harassed because they're just bimbos, anyway.

At Fox, it might.
I've dealt with the problem myself. A male co-worker (former manager who had been busted down for sexually harassing one of his workers) followed me into a room, locked the door, and backed me into the corner, blocking me with his body. I told him if he didn't get out I'd kick his ***** up to his throat. He laughed, left me alone, and we got alone fine afterward.
My boss, the opposite of the types at Fox, found out about the incident later, and he was horrified I didn't tell him about it.

Another one who lays the blame on the women.
This is why I never defend conservative men to liberals or feminists anymore. I used to. But Trump, and some of the posts I've seen here going back to last fall when the p-tape came out, proved that a number of them think exactly the way leftists accuse them of thinking.

When I was a paint room foreman I angered all my male painters by driving the hot little redhead in the daisy dukes out of my paint room.
I enjoyed the show along with the rest of them but I knew what was going to have to happen. At the end of the night I told her that she couldn't dress like that and gave her a clean up job that I knew would blow paint spatter all over her.
She transferred out the very next day.

@CatherineofAragon the lengths some are going to blame the victim right now...I'm surprised they haven't brought out the Carville line about dragging a $100 through a trailerpark.

And yes that has happened. unsolicitated

Why you had to explain it to her is beyond me. For the record, I wasn't wearing Daisy Dukes.
She was a teenager. I showed her the dress code showing that she could wear shorts but they had to be no more than 3 inches above the knees. No tank tops for obvious reasons.

And just how exactly am I "blaming" the women. They, if Trump is not just making the whole thing up, which I suspect he is, like the attention from him. In short there is no there there. No crime, no foal, no assault. But as I said I think Trump was just bragging and making things up. It would not the first time Trump made stuff up to make himself look good.

I suspect not a bad lawyer, just all wee weed up with so much Trump hate that he needs these opportunities here to vent -- lest he end up on the evening news taking rifle potshots nekked on top the library of Columbia school of law.
(Hope counselor recognizes a stab at humor...)

I've always wondered why they thought making up the women to look like a Martian was a good idea.

Back to Bolling, I wouldn't be surprised to find out it's true. But for the love of God, please, please don't destroy my faith in Bret Baier. I really like Special Report - it's the only thing I watch for news (as opposed to reading).
-
You people are a one-trick pony. How is it that nearly every thread gets turned into a Hate Trump fest? Don't you ever get tired of your bullshit? It's got to be taxing on the mind twisting everything to inside out simply to start an argument. Some of you need to get some sort of a life.

How hard would it be to pick someones phone up in the office and send a text? Especially when they are on the air.
In the end who cares. Maybe Bolling did do this but thats between him, the alleged "victims", and his employer. He fights the good fight against the liberals and we need all the help we can get.
People make mistakes, if you all are gonna throw everyone who makes a mistake to the wolves then your perfect party will be awful small.

I told him if he didn't get out I'd kick his ***** up to his throat. He laughed, left me alone, and we got alone fine afterward.
My boss, the opposite of the types at Fox, found out about the incident later, and he was horrified I didn't tell him about it.
@CatherineofAragon
Back when those things happened to me, a woman would be laughed at had she tried to report it or stop it.
The worst one was when I was not married, and I attended the Baptist church. I was in the choir and I went to a Sunday School class for adult women. There was a man who supervised those classes. For some reason, he joined the choir where I was. One day, he showed up at my apartment and said he visited new church members and he would like for me to do that with him. Then he said when someone has an affair when he is married it is hard not to do that again and he wanted me to have an affair with him after we visited new members. I felt like throwing up - it was so disgusting to use his church duties to get women. I told him no. After that, he stopped going to choir. I thought he only joined the choir to be near me.
I saw a picture on my computer of Eric Bowling and his wife. She is a totally beautiful blond headed woman. If he did this, and I believe he did since his lawyer said something like, "He doesn't remember doing that. He doesn't think he did that." That was not a definite, "No, I did not do that." If it is true, he has thrown away his career and his beautiful wife may leave him.
-
So you take he word of this lying communist B*%#h just because she is a woman!
It is three women who supposedly got these pictures and numerous, I think it was eight, witnesses the women told at the time!!
-
@jpsb
Don't you know that the woman is always right in these cases. Always and evermore. /s
My wife says women are more evil then men can be.
Surely Bolin would not be so stupid as to send a pic of his manwood to anyone. That for someone in his position would be insane. I tend to not believe his story. But if she has a pic of his, he better have a pic of hers to show the sexting was with consent. He'd still be fired but out of legal jeopardy.

You people are a one-trick pony. How is it that nearly every thread gets turned into a Hate Trump fest? Don't you ever get tired of your bullshit? It's got to be taxing on the mind twisting everything to inside out simply to start an argument. Some of you need to get some sort of a life.
Because #nevertrump became the single most important aspect of the site, 15 months ago. Prior to that it was an intelligent, respectful site. There was virtually no name and very little profanity, etc. Not so, now.
Now wade into a conversation, and EXPECT to be called names, like "communist" or "nazi." (bootlicker, goosestepper)
That is how the recruited members view others, through the screens of their "virtue" and "principles."

I have not been here that long, but that sounds about right to me. You don't advance your cause by name calling. Now on other threads that have not yet turned into a Trump bashing thread I get alone fine with people hate my guts when the topic of conversation is Trump. I think it is kinda funny.

Worked on Herman Cain and several others so I guess they will continue pulling this scam until someone slaps it down HARD!
In all of the above cases NOTHING was said about it until years later. WHY is that?
-
@Victoria33
@CatherineofAragon the lengths some are going to blame the victim right now...I'm surprised they haven't brought out the Carville line about dragging a $100 through a trailerpark.
@txradioguy
Give it time, lol.
-
@CatherineofAragon
You mean like the one that lied about her affair with the guy from Fox Business?
@driftdiver
So that makes them all liars? And the men all innocent, despite the firings?

Yup it sure did took old Herman right out of it without a sherd of evidence.
-
Umm yeah, when a woman flashes her cootchie at me in an effort to gain an advantage I do blame her.
And yes that has happened. unsolicitated
@driftdiver
Unsolicited.
So because of your experience you assume that's the case with every women who is harassed? Why?

Yes, TBR was all Peace 'N' Love back when. *****rollingeyes*****
Everybody loved Donald Trump. Then, all those Philistines showed up, tracking up the place.

@Bunny Watson
Personally, I would be very surprised to find out Bret Baier had been involved in this kind of thing. He comes across as a man who's devoted to his family and to his sick child.

No, I don't. Neither do I assume she's a slut who asked for it and the man is automatically the victim.

Just guessing it might be something minor, like the women being newly hired and afraid they might lose their jobs.
Also the fear of being trashed as sluts if they did come out with it.
Actually it isn't guessing, because numerous women have talked about that being the case at Fox.

For all its problems Foxnews is the ONLY MSM newssource that wasn't lockstep with the Hillary campaign. What we are seeing is a systematic dismantling of Foxnews to prevent them from stopping the globalists the next time.

Walter Cronkite may not have been seen as a star, but he certainly filled that role back in the day. In fact, it was his reputation as "America's most trusted newsman" that lead me to study journalism as an undergraduate.
I took one journalism class. Enough to learn the basics. Who, what, where, when, why etc. And the editor expected/demanded verification of sources and of the facts themselves. And finally no bias. Woodward and Bernstein, "All the President's Men," etc. But there were just three main TV networks, following much the same rules. Essentially the same went for press news, dominated by major city papers, and news agencies (AP, UPI, etc.)
Many conservatives were pleased when Trump put the media in their places, over bias. But they later were unhappy when he reaped the benefit of having done so.
-

Exactly. And precisely what I was told last fall when the P tapes came out. There were some headpats and some, "Now, little lady, don't you understand there are more important things?" Until it's your wife or your daughter, that is.
Like I said, it's why I don't waste breath standing up for conservative men anymore.

I don't know much about him.
Not much about it is in question now. He had an affair with a gal who was paid to be his biographer, during which time he got sloppy with keeping his Classified stuff secure. While it was "consensual," and not a harassment situation, it led to all sorts of problems like her conflict of interest in writing an honest biography and his mishandling of Classified documents (there was the small matter of his Marriage, which apparently survived the tryst). She also harassed a friend of his, to keep things quiet.

4 star generals normally determine what is classified and what is not.
That he was prosecuted is yet another example of a politicized justice system. It was a message to shut up or worse would happen.

Yeah, these aren't your grandfathers journalists, that's for sure. While old Walt leaned left, you wouldn't know it from his reporting.
And old Ben Bradley wouldn't publish Woodward & Bernstein stuff, until validated with traditional journalism standards of multiple sources, accuracy of facts, etc.
And if a public figure, office holder or media personality, was accused of misdeeds, journalism would call for establishing a more thoroughly verified situation, than we do these days.
Kennedy's many affairs were protected, as an example. Not to mention Eisenhower's mistress "driver" Kay. Or FDR's longtime companion-Lucy.

And not all that relevant, either. He was never accused of sending unwanted dick-pics to a co-worker.

Wanted or unwanted.....kinda really not okay in the world I live in. Real men show it to them in person.

Sure it is. You just have to follow the rabbit back through all of the trails and side trails. Somebody commented about Bret Baier (sp?) and that he didn't seem like the type, and I replied back that David Patraeus didn't either. And, then the discussion went all over the place.

The rates of adultery among men and women are sadly quite high.

The rates of adultery among men and women are sadly quite high.
Are they higher than they used to be, or do we just hear about it more? I don't believe surveys about it. The only thing I do know is there is more mixing among the sexes in the workplace in recent decades, and even the cause of that is open to some dispute.

I dunno if they are actually higher or are just reported. Its my impression that it is more acceptable now and as you mentioned there is more access with coworkers.

You can also go too far in the other direction. Anytime a conservative's accused of wrongdoing, you can start yelling it's all a leftwing conspiracy. If Bolling did what he did, I don't claim him as having anything to do with me. And I don't use leftwingers' behavior as a model for my own.

I'm saying I do not care. We've had adulterers in the White House for decades. Thats between them and God.
Bolling is good at his job and is a conservative free market voice in the mess that makes up MSM.
IF he did it he should apologize. I have a very hard time accepting that these women were traumatized by the image.

You talk a good game about God, but a man's morals are irrelevant to you? It doesn't work that way.
"Traumatized"? Who said they were?
I note you're backpedaling to "If it happened, it doesn't matter" now that Bolling's memory loss has come to light. Like I said, it's a big zero until it's your wife or daughter.

@CatherineofAragon
Making assumptions is a dangerous pastime. Man is fallen. He is imperfect and deserves to be condemned. That includes women as well.
Not backpedaling, just havent seen any proof and am not willing to destroy a guy who has been fighting liberals for years. Its a personal matter. But throw any kind of red meat out in front of conservatives and they'll destroy each other.
My wife is a 5th degree black belt and can certainly take care of herself.
Good grief, I used to manage a group of women. They were far worse then this on a daily basis with each other.

It's morally wrong to "dik pic" someone, no matter your religion.
But they wouldn't be able to prove it against me because if I send one, it sure ain't gonna be a pic of MY munchkin.
-
Are they higher than they used to be, or do we just hear about it more? I don't believe surveys about it. The only thing I do know is there is more mixing among the sexes in the workplace in recent decades, and even the cause of that is open to some dispute.
All I know (from experience) is that married women who actively seek out affairs tend to be pretty unsure of what they really want. I can't comment on men because I've never been in a relationship with a man married or otherwise.With women I've seen them unhappy in a marriage and seeking little more than an escape hatch. Sometimes they aren't financially secure enough to abandon ship so they seek a new man with a job.
I work with a very attractive woman now who is obviously looking for an out and flirting with me pretty hard. She lives in a motel with her husband and 5 kids (5 thru 14) and I have a house. Fortunately caution came with age and I have some questions. For instance, why are they floating around the country living out of motel rooms like they're hiding from someone. With family up and down the east coast why are they living in a motel in Michigan on her part time minimum wage pay and the husband a supposedly disabled vet who gets no help from the VA?
-
It's morally wrong to "dik pic" someone, no matter your religion.

Only if they don't want it. He's an adult, the women were adults. He wasn't their boss.

I'm building a wood kayak. Once finished I will take it fishing in the ocean. That should keep me away from women like that or like anything else.
-
It's morally wrong to "dik pic" someone, no matter your religion.
But they wouldn't be able to prove it against me because if I send one, it sure ain't gonna be a pic of MY munchkin.

No, just no. Excusing it as "The ends justifies the means" is how we ended up with Clinton. It shows a horrible lack of good judgment and flat out idiocy. They are handing someone the rope they can use to hang them.

Trump is President. Foxnews is the only semi-conservative voice in the MSM. If they are destroy it will be nothing but CNN & MSNBC.
If CNN/MSNBC/ABC can control ALL the news what kind of candidate do you think we'll get next time? hmmmmmm??????

Making assumptions is a dangerous pastime. Man is fallen. He is imperfect and deserves to be condemned. That includes women as well.
Not backpedaling, just havent seen any proof and am not willing to destroy a guy who has been fighting liberals for years. Its a personal matter. But throw any kind of red meat out in front of conservatives and they'll destroy each other.
My wife is a 5th degree black belt and can certainly take care of herself.
Good grief, I used to manage a group of women. They were far worse then this on a daily basis with each other.
So you're willing to accuse me of adultery just out of the blue, but this guy who isn't really defending himself against an accuser who can supposedly produce the picture and will have a log of what phone number it came from you'll give the benefit of the doubt because you don't want to destroy him and it doesn't really matter to you. Got it.
-
Bolling himself is now saying he doesn't recall, doesn't think he sent the pictures. How is his own waffling any kind of attack from outside? Don't you think an innocent man would be able to say, straight out, without any doubt, I didn't do it?
@CatherineofAragon
Devil's advocate: he might know he suffers from a dissociative disorder, or drinks to oblivion, or takes Ambien, or has a bad memory, or . . .
I tend to speak with lots of disclaimers and not very diffinitively, as I can often think of exceptions. This has gotten me in trouble!
That being said, I think he probably did it.

Hey anything to destroy a conservative voice in this country, right? After all that is all that matters.
Looks like he destroyed himself. Why should we trust someone who betrays his own supposed principles?
Once again, it is so easy to get conservatives to turn on each other. Lefties will back each other to the end, conservatives throw out the baby at the first hint of wrong doing.
Because real Conservatives have standards and principles that they expect to be upheld and lived up to. Leftists have no standards or principles except to promote evil via government power and centrists go which ever way the wind blows because they have no core except where the herd might run.
A little leaven leavens the entire lump.
For someone who claims Christ is King, you ought to know that principle - because it is in His Word.
Or like everything else, do politics trump what God says?

Sure, man is fallen--- and I take the word " man" to mean both sexes, in the traditional sense. But you don't go around shrugging and saying oh well, he did this because he's fallen, so who cares. I'm not aware of any doctrine which teaches that it can be used as an excuse.
Whether the woman can take care of herself is not the issue. Sexual harassment is wrong.
As for Bolling, dude...he isn't any kind of warrior. He's a talking head on a TV channel.

@Cyber Liberty
Building it in my garage. The kayak is 18'6" long and my garage is 19'8" long. But I open the door and have a lot more room. This is the design I'm using but the wood I was able to get is a lot lighter. I'm using red cedar for most of it with some cypress. Also planning to use maple veneers, and ash & ebony for some other small parts.
Using plans from Laughing Loon and they are very good. I wish I had the craftsmanship that the guy who made the one below has.

He's a talking head on TV. His lifeblood is good will, gravitas, and reliability. Guy "allegedly" sends a dick pic to someone not his wife or SO - not terribly reliable. And the act of sending a dick pick - if there's anything more ridiculous, I'm not sure what it is. I mean, an affair has some dignity.

Stupidity and it's related childishness is a bountiful crop this year. :beer:
As to if it happened - I'm more inclined to think it did than it didn't, simply because how stupid the accusation is. Set ups are more likely to be "he harrassed me and made sexual advances but we were alone and there's no witnesses" not a photo with a phone number attached to it. :shrug:

You and I both know that there are numerous ways for that photo to have been sent without the accused having ANY knowledge of it at all! Something as simple as leaving his phone on his desk while he went to the bathroom for instance.

@XenaLee
I said anyone who thought there was a possibility of a 3rd person becoming President was a fool.
Seriously you think there was a chance of a 3rd person winning the election?
Really?
Whether you intended it or not, the implication.... and how I took what you said.... was that if you didn't vote either for Trump or Hillary, you were a fool. Hence the "There were TWO choices in the General Election" comment. If you didn't intend for it to be taken that way, you might have said it differently.... and/or left out the part about calling people fools.
How people vote is their business.... and people vote differently from how you vote all the time. That doesn't make them fools. It has been a very emotional last decade or so....and people have their reasons for voting (or not voting) how they do.
Many people voted third party as a protest against the usual and ssdd of having to vote for the lesser of two evils BS ....in this case for a NY liberal and heavy donor to the Clintons or for a NY liberal named Clinton. I for one am damned FTFU and tired of having to hold my nose and vote for that "lesser"....since it has become harder and harder to determine which really is the "lesser" these days.... and I subsequently vowed never again. I fully intend to stick by that vow.
Just sayin.....

I will go further. America now has a chance for more conservative outcomes, thanks to those who voted for Trump.
Judiciary, illegal immigration, regulatory, national security and standing with the world, healthcare reform hopefully to follow, tax rate reductions hopefully to follow. Etc.

Bays and open ocean. No diving but you can fish from them. I plan to install a rod holder and a cup holder. Might turn a forward storage compartment into a livewell. I'll probably test it first to see how stable it turns out.
I've taken 4 foot waves and about 40 mph winds in a very large bay on plastic kayaks of this design. They only need about 1-2 inches of water so they are pretty flexible

I cannot speak for @CatherineofAragon on this, but if you are referring to the dissimilar persona of a Kardashion and a News Reader, yeah I display it too. I expect crap from the former and something better from the latter. That's why I watch latter and eschew the former. But, I'm aware I may have completely missed your point, so I have to add that caveat. I do that a lot lately. :shrug:
-
Every POV is potentially offensive. Are we going to have an echo chamber on here or what?
Of course not! But, I do understand why that pisses some folks off, it's personal, and I am able to find other equally cutting ways to express myself. I don't often do that, but that particular one is one I find worth doing. I remember Jonestown and Waco.

After summer school between sophomore and junior year, we left at noon and headed to Dana Point, to surf until dark.
DP before the harbor was built, and ruined the point break. An old(er) man surfed the waves in a kayak.
Not more than a couple of miles south at the same time, Phil Edwards was experimenting with a prototype cat that would become the Hobie Cat. In the ocean, not in a bay.
