Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders’s post-debate exchange on Tuesday night certainly looked tense, judging from Warren’s decision not to shake Bernie’s hand as the other candidates good-gamed around them. According to audio released by CNN on Wednesday night, the conversation was as strained as it looked. Responding to Sanders’s onstage denial of a report that he told Warren in private that a woman could not defeat Trump in 2020, Warren called him out:
Warren: I think you called me a liar on national TV.
Sanders: What?
Warren: I think you called me a liar on national TV.
Sanders: You know, let’s not do it right now. If you want to have that discussion, we’ll have that discussion.
Warren: Alright.
Sanders: You called me a liar. You told me — all right, let’s not do it now.

Actually, when I saw the part of the "debate" about Warren vs Sanders, the Moderator started the argument on that stage. First, Sanders was asked if he told Warren she can't win and he said "No! Never said that." The Moderator immediately asked Warren how she felt when Sanders told her she can't win.
It tickles me when CNN pulls this shit on Rats. :yowsa:

Everyone that is running on the left would be a disaster. None of them are presidential material. They all have a socialistic platform and the only thing that they are truly running on is that they are anti-Trump. So ... that is why the choice IS between Trump and socialism.

I disagree.
I didn't read the entire assessment, but I have often used this as a tool to quickly reference political candidates and have found them to be fairly accurate. Not that I agree with their assessment every time, but you might want to peruse it a bit ... for what it's worth:
Donald J. Trump is considered to be a "Hard Core Conservative".
Bottom line IS voting for Trump over a socialist or communist.

The beginning of the downfall of this country was giving McCain the GOP nomination. The second downfall was giving Romney the nomination. Both were an absolute disaster; McCain, more so than Romney.
Trump has tried and has succeeded in many ways in turning this country in a more positive direction. For the life of me, I don't understand why some don't see that.

I'll reckon 20% (maybe more) of those Americans would SUPPORT a "communist" for president, so long as that candidate had a "D" next to their name.
Make that a communist running as a "progressive socialist", and that 20% jumps up to 35% or higher.

Glad I didn't vote for either of them...
I think CNN staged this (and Warren knew the mics were still hot).... CNN are Warren bots and hate Bernie... this was faked and CNN giving her the benefit of the doubt shows just whose side they are on... they took her quote as gospel truth knowing a private conversation can not be proved one way or the other. Reminds me of how the debates turned "NY values" on Ted Cruz instead of focusing on Trump's actual words.

As Nate Silver has pointed out, Iowa is make-or-break for Warren. Only a win can improve her dim prospects in the next few states. Much as I despise her, I now hope she does win Iowa because doing it this way will infuriate the Sanders supporters she desperately needs in the long run. The risk is that her actions hand Biden an easy win in Iowa and all the momentum going forward.

Given Fauxcahontas' years (decades?) of playing victim by lying about being part Indian, I'm going to guess Fauxcahontas made it up entirely but made the mistake of not ambushing The Bern with her lie at the debate. She gave him time to prepare to respond.
