U.S. Surpasses 500,000 Coronavirus Deaths

The United States officially surpassed 500,000 coronavirus deaths Monday, according to Johns Hopkins University, a total nearly equal to American deaths in World War II, Korea and Vietnam combined and the highest total of any country in the world.

The nation’s most recent 100,000 deaths were recorded in just 34 days following a winter surge of the virus that led to record daily case counts, hospitalizations and deaths. The new total follows the CDC’s announcement that last year was the deadliest in American history and that U.S. life expectancy dropped a full year in 2020’s first six months.

Experts have also warned against more contagious variants which have spread throughout the country in recent weeks, some of which may be more resistant to the vaccines, recent studies have shown.

Dr. Anthony Facui warned on Sunday that cases could still spike in the future, and that masks may still be required in 2022 unless the virus is “down to a baseline that’s so low there is virtually no threat.”

1. Between immunity from vaccinations, the increasing number of people who have immunity from having had Covid, and the warming weather, I don't think the US will have another spike like the one in December and early January.

2. How could we have had 100K deaths in Biden's first month? Are his face-masked rainbow-pooping unicorns teacher's union members?

Well I feel much better after hearing China Joe's Covid speech tonight.

I found out 'America will smile again'. What a relief.

We were told if we did all this that this would be avoided. We did. People still died.

And almost every single public health official who dragged all of us into this mess is still employed.

Death will not be cheated.  He gets allocated a given number of bodies every year.  Covid this time. Car crashes and OD's next time.  It all plays out.

Wasn't it originally 30 days to flatten the curve?  It was all b.s. from the very beginning.

When the Chinese virus first hit and Glenn Beck's research team went over and talked to those running the morgues; estimated then that the world we lose  6% of its population due to this virus. I don't know how close we are to that figure.

Without a doubt, however this time Death's accountant put damn near every car crash, OD, suicide(pick your favorite method), slip and fall, industrial accident, old age, heart failure, etc into the Covid column and I just can't get over the almost complete lack of Influenza deaths these last thirteen plus months. So 500K Covid deaths? sorry just aint byin it. Is it a serious disease? YES, did a lot of people die? YES, did lots more people die in America do to idiots like Fauci and playing stupid political games with peoples lives because Trump said a treatment sounded like a good idea? HELL YES!

Per Worldometers, https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries, there have been ~2.5M deaths. Take that with a large block of salt, since US Covid-death recognition standards tend to exaggerate the number of deaths, while countries like Russia, Iran, and China lie, and many Third World countries don't have health systems that could know what's going on in the country, let alone provide accurate stats. That said, even if you triple that 2.5M deaths number that's just ~.1% of the world's population.

The inflated US number is between .1% and .2% of US population. 10 or 11 months ago there was vastly more panic than knowledge. The panic was somewhat understandable then, when so much was unknown, but the Dems and their MSM-shills are now feeding US citizens and residents Panic Porn, half truths and lies, to sustain and extend their power.

I'm thinking a silver lining might be the SS fund will have extended its life by a few years before it is depleted.  Most of those Half billion were golden oldies.  So we have that going for us.

I wonder what they really died of?   Heart attacks?  Gun shots?  Diabetes? Motor vehicle accidents?  These numbers are way overblown.
