Title: UPDATE: Idaho Legislature votes to ban partial-birth abortion

The Idaho House of Representatives voted 50 to 11 to ban partial-birth abortion Friday. The bill is now on its way to Governor Brad Little’s desk to be signed into law.

The Senate previously passed the bill with a 29 to 6 vote.

In the article they say there are a couple of people writing a bill to make abortion murder. Probably won't get anywhere. But that is the way many people around here think.

Compare Idaho's new law vis-a-vis the one just passed by the New York state legislature.

Is there not a better illustration of how divided the nation is becoming?

Where did the division come from?

As it is with the thread on gun background checks where you replied you hadn't or wouldn't read the entire thread.
 @Jazzhead  wants litigation and legislation. Here is some legislation that helps prevent murder. I am all for it.

I wish it mattered. The people who voted for this in the legislature are the people I voted for.

Good. It is a hideous practice that should never have been legal, anywhere.
