Not paying much attention to the teebee,but had it going as background noise after Sam Smith walked off the stage at Austin City Limits and some new group/guy I had never heard of came on wearing a shiny suit,so I went back to the web.
It's not long before it sinks in that I need to start paying more attention to what my teebee is telling me. This young guy and his band are blues musicians,and they are flat blowing the roof off the joint.
I shoulda suspected something when I spotted the horn section as they came on stage,but I was distracted.
If you get a chance to watch his performance on Austin City Limits (easiest to go to the pbs web site and watch from there),you owe it to yourself.
A little bit of surprise awesomeness on a slow day never hurt anyone.

I just heard him today for the first time,and was impressed by him and his whole damn band! They are all clearly doing what they love.
