Whoopi Goldberg explodes on report Trump avoided paying taxes due to losses: 'I'm pissed!'

Whoopi Goldberg said she was "pissed" Wednesday about a New York Times report that said President Trump didn't pay income taxes for a number of years because of losses his businesses took beginning in the 1980s.
"I can’t decide if he’s a fraud or a loser," the co-host of "The View" said on the ABC program.
"He didn’t pay taxes for ten years. How do you get away without paying—I’m sorry. I’m pissed!†Goldberg exclaimed to applause from the live New York City studio.
Co-host Sunny Hostin noted Trump's past failures in business, including Trump Airlines and Trump University.
“When I look at his track record, Joy, I think he’s a fraud and a loser," she said.
"He's two treats in one!" Behar injected.
“I don’t mind a failure," Goldberg said after some crosstalk. "I mind a scam.â€

I'm curious if the NYT, which leaked the President's confidential tax information, avoided paying corporate income taxes in recent years as its business losses have mounted.
That's not to fault either Trump, or the NYT, from taking advantage of the tax laws as they find them. No one should have to voluntarily pay one dime more in taxes than what is legally required. Of course, what's obnoxious is the sanctimony from some quarters that corporations somehow have a moral obligation to pay more than what is required. To the contrary, the obligation of a corporation is to its shareholders.

That was my first thought when I saw the thread yesterday about the NYT article. First they labelled him as a tax cheat (for playing by the rules), and now they want to label him a loser -- for the same behaviour.

Anybody remember how many actual tax cheats there were in the Obama administration? I do. It was a plethora of crooks. But I'm guessing that Whoopi was and still is A-OK with that scam, Whoopi being the atypical hypocrite and a perfect representative of the idiot left.
