Title: The Mighty F-1 Engine
Post by: Joe Wooten on June 04, 2019, 02:56:29 pm
This is an interesting article in the Space Review by Dwayne Day. NASA and Rocketdyne did not throw away the design documentation, in fact, they preserved a of it along with most of the "tribal knowledge" accumulated by the guys who built them. A very good article. It could bee revived any time NASA or anyone else wants to pay for it.

I have a picture somewhere of me posing next to an F-1.  It was taken at the Michigan Space Center.
