Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is bristling at the suggestion her proposed socialist overhaul of America would turn the country into another Venezuela.
During an interview on “60 Minutes,†the New York congressman laughed at the idea her platform of free college, a universal basic income, free health care, and a “Green New Deal†would turn the country into a failed socialist state like Cuba or Venezuela.
"Of course†that’s not what’s being planned, she said. “What we have in mind — and what of my — and my policies most closely resemble what we see in the U.K., in Norway, in Finland, in Sweden."

This is all good. Pelosi thinks that she is the President, and OC thinks she has the power to reshape and rebuild the entire foundation of America as she thinks it should be. (as a junior Congresswoman in the House)
We have CNN and MSNBC among others unabashedly and apologetically simply making-up News, presenting rumors and personal suppositions as News Facts, blatantly and obviously skewing just about every so called 'poll' that they present, and calling the U.S. President and almost any Republican vulgar, homophobic slurs on national television.
The Left, as many have predicted, really is melting down. And they are starting to eat each other.

We already know what the other hand will be doing. Same as they always do. Trying to rob American taxpayers, trying to melt down the economy so they can blame the GOP (See: economic collapse in 2008), and basically undermining Trump's administration, along with the entire country. It's their standard pattern.

They have had years to plot how, to clean their legislative guns, and get ready. It's what they do, unlike the GOP who seem gobsmacked when they get a chance to do anything. Their ducks are doubtlessly aligned, and having a couple of conspicuous poster children to stand in front of the real thieves in their crowd and wave their arms to attract attention is just the thing they need.
Those are the rats who will be doing the stealing, trying to take guns, and pulling other unConstitutional crap, but they are invisible in the media, for the most part.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez flaunts her ignorance

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claims she's a college graduate, having earned an undergraduate degree from Boston University. Apparently, a basic understanding of how governments are structured around the world wasn't a graduation requirement. In her recent 60 Minutes television interview, Anderson Cooper asked the newly elected House representative if her policies mirror the failed socialist regime of Venezuela. Laughing at the question, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez replied, "Of course not. What we have in mind and what my policies most closely resemble are what we see in the U.K., in Norway, in Finland, in Sweden." Dismissing the fact that she spoke for an unknown and unidentified collective by employing the word "we" in her response, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is in need of a remedial world civics class. Having flaunted her ignorance for the umpteenth time, Anderson Cooper failed to follow up by asking Ms. Ocasio-Cortez if she knows the difference between a parliamentary representative constitutional monarchy and a constitutional republic. It's evident her civics education is sorely lacking.
