Meghan McCain told her fellow co-hosts Tuesday on ABC’s “The View†that President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner needed to “be held accountable†for the rhetoric that led to the deadly riot at Capital Hill.
McCain said, “They’re talking about police departments all over the country, about possible domestic attacks on all Capitols from domestic terrorists. We’re living in a time that it feels like we’re in a banana republic.â€
She continued, “I don’t understand why people on Capitol Hill aren’t demanding that this end, because as long as we take no culpability for what happened, and I say we as the collective Republican Party, there’s no future for the party. There is none if the president is going to keep saying things like that, and we’re not going to hold him accountable. This is dead. We can call it over.â€
McCain said, “His family needs to be held accountable for this too. Don’t let Ivanka and Jared off just because they are not saying anything right now. Apparently, they’re in hiding. Do not let these people off the hook.â€

Well there have been attacks and tack of attacks against police departments all over the country, but that's all been done by the socialists lap dogs BLM and Antifa. And yes the country does feel like a banana republic because of the socialists and their corrupt election process. This idiot is just another socialist America hater dressed up in a republican suit just like daddy was. Boy I remeber when Nixon's enemy list was bad, now these (I can't write the words here) are telling us that enemies lists and punitive actions ranging from prison, terminations of lawful business and free speech and the desire to intern those who don't think the right way and re-educate them is somehow patriotic. Sorry, I know we aren't supposed to make the comparison but there are so many comarisons to a 1930's Germany that it's hard to ignore.

As y'all know I am not a fan of Jared's but this is ridiculous and I see Ivanka more to the left than anyone in her entire family.
This isn't going to end well for the Trump family; the leftists will yank them all in and out of court and go after their businesses and they may even find a way to seize assets.
The family needs a couple of great attorneys and hopefully they've ditched Giuliani as an option.
At best Melania and Baron may remain unscathed but they're going to feel whatever financial impact the President suffers.

I agree on both counts. Meghan is a petty, vindictive witch, just like her dear ol' mom. I never cared for the influence Jared and Ivanka had, but the bottom line is that they have absolutely no responsibility for what happened last week.
