Border Patrol official: Caravan-size influx of migrants arriving every week in Rio Grande Valley

A caravan-size influx of migrants is flooding across the border each week in just a single sector, a top Border Patrol official told lawmakers Tuesday -- the latest indicator of the growing migration crisis on the southern border.
“Much media attention has focused on caravans coming across from Central America,†Rio Grande Valley Sector Chief Patrol Agent Rodolfo Karisch said at a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing. “But the fact is that RGV is receiving caravan-equivalent numbers every seven days.â€
Karisch said his sector has apprehended people from 50 different countries, including China, Bangladesh, Turkey, Egypt and Romania.
“People are traveling across hemispheres to attempt to illegally enter the U.S., using the same pathways as the Central Americans,†he said.

The more Trump yells he is closing the border, the more people try to get in before he does it. The border is absolutely chaos, the worst chaos he has started to date.
Also, no one knows where Trump stands on any subject, because he changes it every day to create more chaos.
We have had chaos every day since he first started his campaign to be president. It is not going to ever stop, as when he is not longer president, he will still create chaos every day. This is a terrible situation the country is struggling through.

This is what people need to understand; we are being INVADED from countries around the world. How many terrorists are getting through and then forming sectors within the U.S. organizing for an attack in the future?? I don't think anyone really knows.
The chaos at the border I blame on Trump. We have NEVER had such chaos EVER even under the last administration. This is absolutely shameful. Yes, the more Trump yells, the more chaos he is creating, especially since he isn't doing ANYTHING to stop the invasion. He is the person who loudly proclaimed that he would build a great big beautiful wall, make Mexico pay for it and there would be no amnesty!
God help us!

No one seems willing to do whatever it takes to stop this.
Unless severe, and perhaps deadly action IS undertaken, I don't expect this flood to abate.
Next year, and EVERY year after, expect 2-3 million more "arriving". Perhaps even greater numbers, once it becomes obvious that no one will stop them, or even TRY...

There's only one way to stop this:
With the U.S. Army, and live ammunition.
I'm gonna say it, and take the heat:
This will not end until a sufficient number of "invaders" have been killed trying to cross the border, enough to discourage others from coming or even to think about trying.
Short of that, build a wall. 30-40 feet high. And be prepared to defend that with guns, as well.
If we are unwilling to to do either of the above, then we must accept the consequences -- that being, a nation overrun by tens, perhaps hundreds, of millions more yet to come.
Please reply and educate me as to how any other way could possibly work...

It's unfair to say Trump made no actions, but clearly they have been ineffective. In fact his decision to end catch and release has backfired hugely.

I absolutely agree with you. As I stated before, we are being invaded. Most countries would do whatever was needed to secure their borders and stop the invasion! It is being reported that we have people coming in from 50 different countries, if that doesn't call for drastic measures, I don't know what would.
This invasion is a deliberate attempt to kill our Republic. It is an act of war. Trump needs to act -- military and fire power!
