is set to hold a rally there.
O'Rourke will join rally-goers in El Paso to "show the country the reality of the border," according to a statement released by his office Friday.

The technology is available, for two candidates and a third moderator to stream live from three locations.
It is an ideal use of "long format" discussions.

I suppose he has some charm. He is, however very shallow. No more than 1/4 inch deep.
My stepson is doing the same kind of drifting about, immersed in music, waiting tables, smoking dope, no idea about tomorrow, no focus at all.
The difference is that my stepson is 21, Robert is an adult. Who wants to be president?

His speech mannerisms would indicate (to me, anyway).... that he is so disingenuous.... that he feels he must over-emphasize his words in order to make them convincing. Most folks with half a working brain cell can see through this. The lefties.... not so much.

Should BETO decided to run for president, and I think he will, he's going to be a problem. I think everyone was surprised at how close he came to victory in TX. Time and changing demographics are on his side.

Even so, Beto came close enough in Texas to be a player. If he can come that close to Cruz on his home turf, what can he do in some place like California? Especially after the MSM went all fawning and worshiful on him. They control the image,the access, the appearance, and will coach if necessary, edit in favor of, and toss softball questions at any candidate they want to make a 'sensation', just like they do with talentless hacks every day. The shows on are just something to get you to watch the Madison Avenue stuff that pays the bills, and they are masters at emotional manipulation--and emotions drive the Democrat vote.

I remember the day after Cruz won, folks in this forum were saying Beto was history.

EL PASO, Texas (AP) – A sheriff’s captain suspended for three days says he told two deputies to destroy a white powdery substance found in the county judge’s vehicle because he thought the substance was planted.
Capt. Willie Hill was suspended this week after an internal investigation verified that Hill told the deputies to “get rid of†the substance they found Feb. 26 while installing a two-way radio in the car of El Paso County Judge Pat O’Rourke.
Sheriff Mike Davis ordered the suspension after the investigation last week. He said he became aware of the incident in July or August but did not initiate an internal investigation until after newsmen began questioning him.
The substance was flushed down a toilet in Boykin’s home before a chemical analysis could be run, said Chief Sheriff’s Detective Fred Bonilla who investigated. Bonilla said a condom half full of an “off-white colored powder with black specks†that could have been cocaine or heroin allegedly was found in the glove compartment of O’Rourke’s auto.
“I have no earthly idea of how it got there,†O’Rourke said this week.
