Minneapolis Officials Have A Moment Of Clarity Over Anti-Police Movement
Minneapolis officials were gung-ho about defunding the police Last month when they voted on a proposal to abolish the police. The proposal passed unanimously but it was just the first step in an effort to get it put on the ballot this November. But now a month later the same commission is having second thoughts, when given the chance to add an anti-police measure to the November ballot they voted against it.
"The Minneapolis Charter Commission voted earlier this week to keep a police reform proposal off of November's ballot, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported. The measure would have scrapped a city requirement to maintain a police force of a size based on the city's population."
"A number of commissioners believe both proposals would be bad ideas.

Their moment of clarity might have come when the thugs threatened to burn down their houses or threatened to harm them physically.
Or it might have come when they realized they weren't on board with their constituents who disliked having their businesses destroyed or people shot on the streets where they lived.
