Senate Democrats issued stark warnings on Wednesday that Republicans would severely damage the institution of Congress if they acquiesced to a push from Trump allies to haul former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter for testimony about their actions in Ukraine.
A top Biden ally, Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), told The Daily Beast that calling the 2020 presidential contender—who served for 35 years in the Senate—and his son for testimony “would be literally rolling a grenade down the aisle of the Senate†that would have “lasting consequences†on the upper chamber’s ability to work together.
"Look, Joe Biden is well known, widely respected, and frankly beloved by many in the Senate on both sides of the aisle,†said Coons. “The impeachment process is already disruptive enough. I think we should be approaching it with seriousness, not by entertaining conspiracy theories that are utterly unfounded. And I think it would be a very unfortunate move."

If this were true, then The Daily Beast would have found a Republican to say it. The fact that they had to rely on a Democrat to say it suggests that it isn't true.

They're warning against calling the central figure in their case to testify.
That this probably intimidates many on the other side of the aisle makes the whole thing even more hilarious.

Uneffingbelievable.
What is unbelievable? The capacity the DemocRats have for lying? For hypocrisy? For treasonous activities? For unconstitutional laws that they ram through against the will of the majority of Americans? For their rampant, anti-American sentiments? For their radical ideology? And on and on and on.
I find it extremely believable.... since I/we have been observing their deeds and words for decades now. It's only over the past four years that their 'real' agenda and selves have been on display.... on steroids (due to the election of Trump).
My moist dream? I want every swingin d one of them behind bars, wearing orange jumpsuits for ...at the very least... the next 10-20 years. If for nothing else, for their 'latest' coup attempt. They care NOTHING about ruining the lives of anyone that is not one of their radical leftist elitist ranks. They will destroy anyone that gets in their way or that thwarts their agenda.
If there was any real justice remaining in America..... that is exactly what would happen. They would all be behind bars for life (they used to hang seditious traitors, after all). Alas.... I fear that ship has sailed, sunk and is rotting at the bottom of this current political sea.
