General John Allen, the commander of US and NATO forces in Afghanistan, has urged the Taliban to renounce violence and respect women's rights if it wanted to play a part in the country's future.
Yeah, you bet, General. It's not like they simply have to wait until we tuck our tails between our legs and withdraw, then move in and reimpose their rule. Gosh, that is never going to happen, not with Obama on watch.
