I noticed "The Long Riders" is on tonight.  It's a very good western.  My number one movie of all time is "Once Upon a Time in the West".  Others - "Unforgiven", "Pale Rider", "Wyatt Earp", "High Plains Drifter", others I've forgotten..

Have you checked out the "Tombstone - and the Western genre" thread? It's pinned in the Sports/Entertainment/Arts section.

Other than a spell in which I read every single thing McMurtry wrote (and many of his books more than once) I have never read a "western" I guess.  If anyone would like to recommend a "western" writer I'd appreciate it.  My grandpa used to read them constantly but I was too young to find out what he was reading.

Claudia Cardinale was definitely tasty.
Why?  Well, because I'm a bastard, that's why.
