Cat credited with saving baby from falling down the stairs

A cat in Bogota, Colombia, is being credited with saving a little boy’s life after security footage uploaded to Facebook last Friday showed it leap in front of the one-year-old to keep him from falling down a staircase.

When I lived up north we had a dog that thought he was a herder He was a cockapoo. The neighbor kid was in my front yard while I was doing some lawn work. Nest thing i know he is barking (the dog, not the kid) I look up and the kid had been walking toward the street. Shadow got between him and the road and pushing him back. When the kid kept trying Shadow let me know. I very politely explained to his mother that it might be a good Idea for her to keep her kid in her yard.

When I'm feeling low, I go to You Tube or MSN News. Tons of cute animal and babies stuff there.

OH DEER: A Georgia police deputy came to the rescue of a deer wedged in a fence, successfully freeing it from its predicament. https://abcn.ws/32ZcLj2

I could really relate to this, I was in a state park once and I walked down the stairs of this little forested hill and a little deer (doe?) like this took to run off from where he/she was surrounded by leaves under the tree, it's like he or she was taking a nap, I didn't even notice him so I stopped right there and started back to the top and he went back to his resting place but if I went down again, it's like he or she would get up again to run off if needed.  I just went back to the top of the hill and stared at the little deer and it looked back at me.

And it's great how the deputy freed up the deer caught in the fence.

Has one ever heard of the animal Quokkas?  I had never heard of them.

Which sounds like it describes them pretty well.

Our latest foster got adopted in Record time on Saturday.
I followed this family into the store, they stopped to look at something and I said "Excuse me" to slide by them the mother looked down, dropped to one knee and began to pet Anjel. I told her that she was a foster up for adoption and she began to ask for details. I filled her in on the good ,bad, and too cute for words. They followed me back to the adoption and table and that was that. I miss her but she has gone to a good home.

I guess a Koala bear was saved in the bad Australian fires right now.

Error 404 (Not Found)!!1

How very sad, whenever there are fires, yes, wildlife will dye, maybe by the numbers a fairly high amount.

This above is actually very reminiscent of the Smokey the Bear story.

A dog in South Africa has befriended a baby giraffe that was abandoned at birth, rescued and taken to a local orphanage. Jazz the giraffe arrived at The Rhino Orphanage just days after birth. A farmer found him in the wild, weak and dehydrated, and called the center for help. Resident watchdog Hunter quickly began to care for the newcomer.

Hunter, a young Belgian Malinois, keeps an eye on Jazz, a nine-day-old giraffe, at the Rhino
orphanage in the Limpopo province of South Africa, Friday Nov. 22 2019. Jazz, who was
brought in after being abandoned by her mother at birth, is being taken care of and fed at
the orphanage some three hours North of Johannesburg, and has been befriended by
Hunter and its sibling Duke. (AP Photo/Jerome Delay)
