In Case You Missed It Dept.:

Roll Call reports that the Federal Election Commission has launched an investigation into Obama's 2008 campaign finances. Ya know, I think people are a lot more worried about what he's been up to AFTER the election.

Comedian Bill Maher said Obama only spent money because he had to "get us out of the hole that Bush dug". Then he should've spent that money on ladders instead of shovels.

A group of 10 Senators, led by Harry Reid, are taking a week-long, taxpayer-funded "informational trip" to China. Good. Now they'll know we're serious when we threaten to send them the other 90 unless they buy more of our Treasury Bonds.

CBS is refusing to release the full audio of Obama accidentally speaking into a hot mic at a Chicago fundraiser. Man... I thought I was done having to ask about secret presidential recordings.

At one of Obama's San Francisco fundraisers, protesters started chanting "where's our change?" Guys, he doesn't know. That's why his budget plan is to rifle through our pockets looking for it.

While recently lowering American's debt outlook to "negative", Standard & Poor's has upgraded Estonia's to "positive". So credit-wise, it's better to BE a former Soviet-bloc country than to have liberated one.

The Department of Homeland Security is conducting a Midwest "earthquake drill", telling people to drop, take cover, and hold on until the shaking stops. Kinda sounds like a plan for dealing with Obama's presidency.

  -- Fred Thompson

Jesse Jackson was accused by his gay former travel assistant Friday of unwanted sex advances. The restitution is tricky. The fired gay assistant may face a long wait for any money but when he demanded front and back pay, he didn't have to wait long for the laugh.

Oprah Winfrey announced Thursday that Barack and Michelle Obama will be guests on her show during Oprah's final week on the air. There will be the usual publicity stunts. During the taping, every member of the studio audience will be given a tax increase.

President Obama spoke at a party fundraiser in Chicago on Thursday. He was clearly glad to be there. It does him good to get home from time to time and breathe the air of the only city in America that offered to make corruption an Olympic demonstration sport.

Standard and Poor's lowered its outlook on the U.S. credit rating from stable to risky this week, setting off a stock market dive on Monday. It's demoralizing the nation's capital. The country's credit is so bad that all the White House appliances are now rent-to-own.

Michelle Obama appeared on ABC's The View Monday where she was quizzed about her constant traveling. It's become a hot topic. The first lady said she loves to travel so she can embrace the country she loves but she didn't specify if she meant Spain or Brazil.

Bill Clinton flew to Arkansas Saturday to dedicate his childhood home as a historical site. He compares favorably to the current president. Barack Obama seems detached from the needs of ordinary people as opposed to Bill Clinton, who was on top of everything.

The White House said Monday President Obama will not visit the tornado-clobbered areas of the South this week. The trip would make little sense politically. He's never going to be able to pressure the tornadoes into setting up a victims' compensation fund, so what's the point?

Governor Rick Perry demanded that President Obama declare Texas a disaster area Sunday due to Lone Star State brushfires. Dry conditions and high winds are fanning flames in the region. Hundreds of thousands of Mexicans could be forced to flee to Mexico.

President Obama called for more shared sacrifice at a town hall Tuesday. Ever since he visited that volcano in Central America last month all he's talked about is the need for sacrifices. Republicans are starting to doubt that he is a Muslim and think he's an Aztec.

President Obama promoted immigration amnesty at the White House Monday. Reaction was swift. Mitt Romney called the idea dangerous, Sarah Palin called it irresponsible, and Donald Trump asked everyone not to forget to watch Celebrity Apprentice Wednesday.

President Obama marked Passover at the White House on Monday with a traditional Passover Seder dinner. The president said the spirit of Passover is reflected today in the Muslim uprisings in Egypt and all over the Middle East, that is, except the kill-the-Jews part.

Fidel Castro announced Monday he'll retire as Cuba's party chief and he proclaimed new reforms. Cubans have government health care and now they're going to be able to purchase their own cars and homes. If that doesn't bring down their economy, nothing will.

President Obama flew to California Wednesday to speak at a Culver City fundraiser for his re-election campaign. He faced the usual criticism for flying out there. Before he got off the plane in California, Donald Trump was demanding to see his Mexican birth certificate.

President Obama warned a town hall meeting in Virginia Tuesday that America can no longer spend more money than it takes in. He was acting out of sheer panic. The day before, Standard and Poor's downgraded the U.S. credit ratings forecast from stable to Nicolas Cage.

Standard and Poor's downgraded the U.S. debt forecast Monday despite White House lobbying. The debt problem is officially real. Barack Obama never thought that the three o'clock in the morning call would be Red China telling us they're about to attach our wages.

Barack Obama's motorcade snarled traffic in Los Angeles Thursday. Churches on the president's route had to cancel Holy Week services to accommodate his entrance to Los Angeles. It was the most self-important procession since O.J. rode into Brentwood on a Bronco.

-- Argus Hamilton

President Obama is in Los Angeles raising money for his campaign and meeting with Dr. 90210 about an ear tuck.

-- Jimmy Kimmel

Pakistan says they are slowing down their hunt for bin Laden. Slowing it down? What is it, 10 years now? Could you go any slower?

-- Leno

NBC executives say that if Donald Trump does run for president, they will not renew “The Apprentice.” So some good may come out of this.

Obama will participate in a town hall meeting hosted on Facebook. So just like everyone else in America, Obama will be on Facebook when he should be working.

President Obama released his 2010 tax return. It turns out that he made $1.7 million and spent $14 trillion.

The governor of Hawaii said he first met President Obama just days after he was born. He knew it was Obama because he kept pointing to his diaper and calling for “change.”

The Obama administration plans to give the Libyan rebels $25 million in non-lethal aid. The rebels look forward to starting an offensive with Super Soakers and t-shirt canons.

-- Conan

President Obama’s critics are lashing out over him shutting down the poker sites. Sarah Palin called it an overreaction, Tim Pawlenty said it was irrational, and Donald Trump said, “Be sure to watch ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’”

-- Craig Ferguson

I wonder how many people clicked on the Drudge link
Michelle Obama: 'I want to embrace the country that I love'
just to find out what country that was?

Bill and Hillary Clinton were sleeping one night in the Presidential Suite at the White House. Hillary wakes up and starts shaking Bill to wake him up."Bill, Bill wake up." Bill stays sleeping. Hillary continues, "Bill, Bill wake up."

Bill finally wakes up and says, "What do you want?" Hillary responds, "I have to go use the bathroom." To which Bill says, "Please tell me you didn't wake me up just to tell me you have to go to the bathroom."

Hillary says, "No, I just wanted to tell you to save my spot."

President Obama’s approval ratings are so low now, Kenyans are accusing him of being born in the United States.
