Editorial: Biden caves to the Squad over border crisis

President Biden bowed, again, to the progressive wing of the Democratic Party after announcing Friday he would cap refugee admissions at 15,000 this fiscal year. It was the same lid former President Donald Trump set.
Not so fast, declared Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and fellow Squad member Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn. Soon after, Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., said on Twitter: “Say it ain’t so, President Joe. This is unacceptable.â€
So did Biden lead? No, he backed down.
He’s going to toss out that number and revise the cap by May 15, the White House quickly announced. Will AOC OK that first?
