Pollak: Joe Biden Botched the Vaccine Rollout

President Joe Biden has officially botched the rollout of the coronavirus vaccine, as his Food and Drug Administration (FDA) suspended the use of Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine Tuesday because of just six reported claims of blood clotting.

As statistical expert Nate Silver noted, the decision makes no sense whatsoever:

The Biden administration promised that unlike its supposedly “political” predecessor, it would use science to guide its approach to the coronavirus pandemic.

Instead, it has adopted the unscientific, risk-averse approach to public health that has been typical of most Democrat-run “blue” states during the pandemic, who have used drastic and draconian shutdowns at the slightest hint of medical risk.

The unscientific risk-adverse (i.e. emotional) approach has resulted in a much higher death rate than with those states that followed the science.

IMO, this was a rules-of-the-game move, but since the rate of this type of clot in the general population is 5X the rate with the J&J vaccine the FDA better have actual causal evidence if the suspension lasts more than a few days.

Then again, facts and LIEden have been estranged for years or decades, so he may not give a @#$% if the evidence indicates the J&J vaccine did not cause the clots.
