Biden Made More False Comments About Guns, Jen Psaki Tap Dances Trying to Clean Them Up

Joe Biden earlier today announced a variety of gun control executive orders as well as the person he was picking to head the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, David Chipman.

As we reported, there are a lot of questions about Chipman, not the least of which was a nutty claim he made about the Branch Davidians in Waco shooting down two law enforcement helicopters, an event that never happened.

In addition naming a questionable pick for the ATF and tripping all over his words, Biden also had said a lot of things that were just flat-out wrong or misleading. It’s clear he has no idea what the laws are when it comes to guns.

One of the things he claimed was that there were no background checks at gun shows, a very common and often repeated false talking point from Democrats.
