All-volunteer force can’t meet Pentagon’s future needs, advocates warn

The fifth annual All-Volunteer Force Conference looking at the state of the volunteer force since its inception in 1973 and whether conscription should be reinstated to meet the needs of the modern military came amid likely the most attention the issue has seen in recent years.

In February, a petition filed with the U.S. Supreme Court challenges the constitutionality of a military draft that doesn’t include women. And testimony in early March by members of the National Commission on Public service to Congress supported advocated making women register for the draft but not instituting conscription.

The AVF Forum, a group that supports reinstating a form of the draft, and its leadership, have pointed to a host of problems they say have been exacerbated by the volunteer force. They held their annual conference on March 31.

I find it very interesting that immediately after the military started it's purge of white, conservative, homegrown "terrorists" the military might not have enough personnel.  And since whites are persona nongrata, the military has left lesbians, gays, trannies, and people of color as their main interest and may have to restart the draft to cover their needs.

Well, some kind of conflict with China is probably in the future.
Almost certainly over Taiwan, or at least that's how it'll start.

NO "volunteer force" will prove adequate to win such a war.
IF we actually expect to "win" it...

The only thing the military's good for in the minds of the left is a job opportunity for women, non-whites and non-heterosexuals.The most wonderful accomplishment we could have in their view is to have a gay or trannie Chief of Staff. Meanwhile our opponents stress masculinity and strength, not "diversity and inclusion".

I hope we don't have to fight.
