AOC Claims There’s No ‘Surge’ At Border; Greene Levels Her: ‘AOC Is Lying & Being A Racist’

about 4 hours agoNew York socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had quite the meltdown on Tuesday night when discussing the Biden border crisis.
During an Instagram Live session, Ocasio-Cortez didn’t say much of anything about the Biden administration’s handling of the crisis or their lax immigration policies.
Instead, AOC is condemning the use of the term “surge†when discussing the ongoing border crisis at the southern border.
“They wanna say, ‘But what about the surge?'†Ocasio-Cortez said.
“Well, first of all, just gut check, stop. Anyone who’s using the term ‘surge’ around you consciously is trying to invoke a militaristic frame,†she theatrically said.
“And that’s a problem because this is not a surge, these are children and they are not insurgents and we are not being invaded, which by the way is a White supremacist idea-philosophy, the idea that if another is coming in the population that this is an invasion of who we are,†the congresswoman continued.

In response, Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene declared that AOC is “lyingâ€.
“AOC is lying and being a racist blaming ‘white supremacist.’ If she cared about children of all races, then she would be down at the border crying about the very real surge of children being trafficked in our country and stuffed in ‘cages’ due to the policies she loves,†Green wrote, referring to when AOC visited the border under the Trump administration.
