2. Every other president has someone else carrying his bag.  Is it just a prop in this instance?
3. Why does he salute at the top of the stairs? To whom?

The bag was for balance/ballast incase the wind took him and his oversized umbrella on a Mary Poppins flight.

It could have been a lot worse especially carrying that suitcase and huge umbrella...where's the Marine who used to hold O'Bama's umbrella btw.

The only time I've ever known someone to stumble going up the stairs is when they were stoned.

Painful to watch Biden any time, but especially when he is trying the staircase challenge.
He should be in a rocking chair on the front porch. He is way past his time, even with the super light schedule his staff makes for him.
