Because I had the jury list and a bit of info. about them, I did a psychological evaluation of their IQ according to their job title and words they used on their jury questionnaire.  Then evaluated the ones who said they were worried, or somewhat worried, about their safety if they got on the jury.  I evaluated that, thinking their worry would come back big time when they go to deliberation and have to face the fear of Black Lives Matter, etc., if they vote the cop not guilty.

1.  There are two jurors who have an extended family member who is a peace officer.
2.  Three had safety concerns.
3.  There were two of higher than normal IQ who seem to have enough guts to make a decision based on evidence.  In other words, they can connect the dots as to what happened when.  Those two, or one, may vote the cop innocent.

@Cyber Liberty, due to my professional training, I am charging you my fee of 5 cents for this evaluation.

We should do a poll to see how long we think the jury will be out

Not a bad idea.  Options:  <1 day, 2 days, 3 days....and so on.  It won't be longer than a week.  Jurors are sequestered, and they'll be at it at 8 AM tomorrow.  Today doesn't count, they have an hour or so today, enough time to elect a Foreman, set rules for discussion and getting to know each other, aside from the facts of the case.  Tomorrow will start with analyzing the evidence, so the clock starts then.

He did, then concluded it did not influence the Jury.  Meh.  He's a crap-weasel.  His instructions were better than the ones from the Floriduh broad Judge in the Zimmerman case.

In my opinion He was smart not to go MT.  It gives the defense another bullet on appeal front.

I was surprised to find on the internet my voice on the international version of the Tibetan Mummy film I made.  I either did not know or had forgotten that my voice was used around the world.  Here's a link to the film:

Meanwhile all major cities are preparing for riots (or increased rioting).

What is this "rule of law" you speak of your honor?
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Judge Cahill's comment about Maxine Waters' comments further confirms my view that he's not concerned about "fair trial" issues.

He's just providing as fair a trial as he thinks he can, and its for the appellate court to decide if it was enough.

Unacceptable from a trial judge.
