...as an example to all cops:

Meanwhile, in NYC they're removing civil protection from cops so they can get sued easily.

Yeah, don't expect Blue Bloods (TV show) to do much gripping about it either, Tom Selleck has turned pretty liberal lately, as has the whole show.

George Floyd appeared 'high' when he handed over fake $20 bill and 'had difficulty forming words', worker testifies, as court is shown never-before seen footage moments before he died

The third day of Derek Chauvin's murder trial kicked off on Wednesday in Minneapolis
The jury was shown new video of George Floyd inside the Cup Foods store before his death on May 25, 2020
Cup Foods employee Christopher Martin took the stand to testify about how staff called the cops on Floyd because they believed he used a counterfeit $20 bill
Martin said he examined the bill Floyd used to buy cigarettes because it had a strange 'blue pigment'
He said he considered paying for Floyd's purchase out of pocket but ultimately called his manager
Martin said that the two things he noticed about Floyd were his 'size' and he appeared to be 'high'
Across about ten minutes of footage, Floyd was seen meandering around the store, rifling through his pockets
Martin said his manager instructed a co-worker to call police after Floyd refused to come back in the store
Minutes later he went outside and say Floyd restrained by Chauvin and other officers
He said he took a video but later deleted it because he believed Floyd had died

Christopher Martin, who worked at Cup Foods at the time of George Floyd's death, says his manager told him to go out to Floyd's vehicle a 2nd time to ask him to come back inside to discuss the $20 bill. The court then plays surveillance video of that happening.

Me: Imagine if George Floyd killed Derek Chauvin by drilling his knee on his neck for 9:29. What would he be charged with? How long of a sentence? How would the media describe him?

Reporter: Got it.

Derek Chauvin trial: Key witness to invoke the 5th Amendment, refuses to testify

https://www.foxnews.com/us/key-witness-who-was-in-car-with-george-floyd-will-plead-the-5th-amendment-wont-testify-attorney-says

Quote
The Hennepin County Public Defender's Office filed a notice Wednesday on behalf of Morries Lester Hall, 42, who was in the car with Floyd when police approached him for allegedly using a fake $20 bill at Cup Foods in Minneapolis.

"Mr. Morries Lester Hall, through undersigned counsel, hereby provides notice to all parties in this matter that if called to testify he will invoke his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination," said a notice filed by assistant public defender Adrienne Cousins. "Therefore, counsel for Mr. Hall respectfully moves this court to quash the subpoena ... and release Mr. Hall from any obligations therein."

Authorities previously said Hall was a key witness in the state’s investigation into the four officers who apprehended Floyd. He was seen in police body camera videos sitting in the car with Floyd -- his longtime friend -- as another occupant, Shawanda Hill, sat in the back seat.

Sounds like Hall lied to investigators to get police officers prosecuted and doesn't want to choose between committing easily exposed perjury and whatever charges would arise from lying to the investigators after testifying truthfully.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Does anybody else on this thread find it interesting that Floyd's "car" was a Mercedes SUV?  A pretty fine ride for a fellow passing fake $20 bills.

could the prosecution be building a case that Chauvin targeted Floyd due to class envy?

Nope! Not a single bit!  The reason the turd was in Minnesota to begin with is that he had run out of string in his home state of Texas WRT law enforcement.

Defense should call for a Mistrial!!!

Defense could come up with all kinds of reasons for a mistrial and could present a rock solid case that Chauvin is indeed innocent.  It's not going to matter.  He's already been handed a guilty verdict by the MSM, Antifa, BLM and other various groups. The judge didn't allow a change of venue, the jury has been stacked against him; this trial was over before it began.

Once he is handed his sentence he will meet his demise very quickly.  He's a cop that murdered a black man period.
