Pick Your Poison: Impaired Biden or President Kamala

Let's face it: Joe Biden is not totally in control of his mental faculties.

You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it.

The problem we are now faced with is not what should be done about it, because we know what should be done... the problem is: if we were to do what should be done, will we actually be much worse off?

In other words, as frightening as it is to have a mentally debilitated Commander-in-Chief, is it still better than a competent and empowered President Kamala Harris?

As #DementiaJoe trends on social media following President Biden's shaky performance Thursday night in his address commemorating the one-year anniversary of "Fifteen Days to Slow the Spread," it's important to seriously examine just how bad the Biden situation is.

Jim Antle in the Washington Examiner focuses on this issue from the perspective of Mr. Biden's age, which is certainly part of the issue.

    President Biden moves more slowly than when he was vice president under former President Barack Obama. He squints slightly when looking at the teleprompter and sometimes misspeaks anyway.

    Before taking office, Biden suffered a minor injury in a fall (the transition office said at the time that he tripped while playing with his dog). Since then, he has yet to hold a solo press conference. Reporters are sometimes shooed away at his public events, where his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris, or aides can be seen pointing him in the right direction.

Boy, that guy sure misses the point.

Not only is the Usurper in charge of anything now, not even his bowels, he was never expected to be, not by the Americans and not by the people who voted for him, and certainly not by the people putting papers in front of him to sign and words on the teleprompter for him to read, just like when that Illegal Alien From Kenya was the Fairy-In-Front.

And Camel's Butt isn't any better and when they have to replace Biden, she'll obey orders, sign what's handed to her and read what's put in front of her.

That's why the Rodent candidates are so uniformly stupid.   Their owners don't want smart puppets.

So it doesn't make any difference what the puppet's name is.

Who ordered the air strike in Syria? Nobody knows?
Biden is incapacitated, so it wasn't him.
Kamala says she knew nothing about it except what she heard on the news.
Neither one of these people is running the American government/military.
So who is running the show?
All we know is that the strike in the Middle East follows exactly in the path of Obama's policy.
Obama's number one claim to fame is bombing almost every country in Middle East and starting wars over there.

Whether Biden is the puppet President or when Kamala replaces him, neither one of these will actually be in charge.
When they rightfully took the nuclear codes away from Biden, they did not give them to Kamala.
So who has the nuclear codes? Nobody knows.
But whoever it is, or whatever group got them, is really running America.
It is stunning that nobody is asking this simple question.

Only a few days ago, I put up a post about how the Republicans might use the 25th Amendment to prevent harris from becoming president.

But then, I read something that challenged my thinking.

Right now, the senate is split 50-50, with harris as "president of the Senate" and able to break tie votes.

BUT...
If biden was removed from office, resigned, or was to vacate it some other way, harris would become president, VACATING her chair in the senate.

Now, the senate would be 50-50, with no tie-breaking vote possible so long as the Republicans refused en masse to vote for harris' nominee to become vice president. Of course, whether they would have the resolve to act in solidarity to maintain a common front is in doubt.

Seems to me this could become the better alternative, at least until the 2022 elections...

Nice idea, except for one thing:

When was the last time the GOP in the Senate didn't have traitors?

All it takes, on any vote, is for Romney, Murkowski, Collins, McConnell, Graham, or any of 40 others, to have "feelz" and give away the farm.    in fact, that would be expected to happen on every vote that comes up.

ESPECIALLY on the vote to have the vote on approving the new VP nominee.
