She blamed children’s anxiety on parents’ “pressuring them to complete asynchronous work and feeding into their sense of entitlement.â€
Meyer is secretary of the district’s teachers’ union, reports Amy Graff of SFGATE.
If I had a special needs child in that school district I'd write an ultimatum to that district: "Either that teacher is gone or my child and his/her ADA money are gone!"
I realize that a teacher, principal, or school board member who does their job well is very unlikely to make the news, but clearly public schools have serious house cleaning to do. Sadly, I do not think that will happen in a meaningful degree.
