A train collided with an 18-wheeler in central Texas on Tuesday morning, causing a massive explosion.

The crash unfolded at around 6.45am outside the town of Cameron near Highway 190, about an hour northeast of Austin. 

The Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) train was carrying oil tankers that exploded on impact with the semi-truck, sparking a fire that burned down at least one home near the tracks, Cameron police said.

Both the train conductor and the truck driver survived without major injuries.

Authorities said it appeared that the truck swerved to avoid a car at the crossing before it T-boned the train and was deflected. A BSNF official said the official cause of the collision is still under investigation.

Sorry,, but I am having a very hard time envisioning this scenario and somehow getting it to flange up with the headline and the rest of the story. If the oil tankers exploded on impact with the semi-truck, there is no way the driver got out without major injuries.
If the truck hit the train (which was presumably on train tracks), then the oil tankers didn't hit the truck, it was the other way around, so why is the train getting the blame?

Sorry, but there is some crap going on with this. Not doubting there was a major fire, a home was burned, etc. but the story doesn't line up.
