Bank of America, it turns out, is selling out their customers who bought guns or ammunition to federal authorities as people who should be investigated for ties to the criminal acts witnessed on Capitol Hill on Jan. 6.

Tucker Carlson, of Fox News, uncovered evidence that Bank of America is turning over the private transaction records of its customers to federal investigators it believes need to be probed for “extremism” or even domestic terrorism. The chilling move by the second-largest corporate bank in America with more than 60 million customers and $2.16 trillion in assets was this:

1.   Customers confirmed as transacting, either through bank account debit card or credit card purchases in Washington, D.C. between 1/5 and 1/6.

2.   Purchases made for Hotel/Airbnb RSVPs in DC, VA, and MD after 1/6.

3.   Any purchase of weapons or at a weapons-related merchant between 1/7 and their upcoming suspected stay in D.C. area around Inauguration Day.

4.   Airline related purchases since 1/6.

Did you notice No. 3? Bank of America is vocally antigun, but this is crossing into secret lists, big brother, sci-fi truth-is-stranger-than-fiction territory. The bank’s criteria included any purchase at gun store, but not just guns. If someone bought a t-shirt, baseball hat, or even a trigger lock, that flagged their account for “review.”

Who Told Who?

Carlson reported that Bank of America identified 211 people and turned that information over to investigators without notifying those customers their private financial transaction data was being shared without their consent. Federal authorities interviewed at least one person, and that individual was cleared of any wrongdoing.

Friggin morons. The chances of me buying a box of shells or a box of ammo of one kind or another are considerably higher than my chances of buying your average table condiment (sans picante). I would think anyone west of the Mississippi that lives in a rural or semi-rural context could say much the same thing.

Ignorant city bred liberals don't understand how guns are merely tools to a wide swath of the American South and West.

This really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
Anyone who isn't paranoid in 2021 just isn't thinking clearly!

Seems to me that they colluded with the feds to violate their clients' Fourth Amendment protections.

Sounds like some fun times for a class action lawsuit.

And what friggin' idiot of an American still uses BofA?

None of that matters.

You're not allowed to own guns.   The Book of Marx does not permit the serfs to be able to fight back.

I do. I never claimed to be that smart, anyhow.
Hoever, I'm "winding that account down"... letting it gradually run down.

There are advantages to having an account with a nationally-accessible bank, particularly when traveling. But I probably won't be doing much of that in the future.

These days, most of my moolah is with a smaller, regional bank.
But I may have to find another in addition to that one, because of the limit on FDA deposit insurance for a single depositor (passed way beyond that a long time ago...)

The day that I drove to the bank and was unable to access our $$ because of the excuse of COVID, we withdrew as much as we could as soon as we could and have only left enough $ in that bank to pay bills. The rest of our money and other assets are easily accessible and the other portions are invested.

When the bottom falls out of the dollar we'll lose just like others ... but we have other assets hopefully that will keep us afloat ... maybe .... who knows what the Chinese have planned.

There is no doubt, we all have a very, very tough road ahead of us.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

You don't know me very well yet... So I will tell you... Just because somebody makes a law does not necessarily mean I will follow it. It's one of them things where I lean more hillbilly than cowboy. I get my neck up with that sort of thing. Revenuers and all.

I will always have a couple quarts of shine on the shelf.
And I will always be sufficiently armed.
And there ain't a damn thing that's going to change that ever.

I will not let the chickens go unprotected.
I will not stop hunting or trapping. It's how I live. There's more game in the freezer than there is beef. Most always.

That won't be changing. I guarantee it.
