In lawsuits filed Wednesday, the California Grocers Assn. said the city ordinances are illegal because they single out large grocery companies and interfere in “the free play of economic forces.â€

If these ordinances go into or are in effect I hope at least some stores have to courage to push back with closures for as long as they ordinances are in effect. Oakland is in the SF Bay Area, while Montebello is in the
Land of LA.
