On another thread I mentioned the oddity of retaining such a large National Guard force in DC till March.  There is no reason to keep those guys there.  Highly speculating, but don't be surprised of some faux generated crisis, or a financial meltdown that will trigger Marshall Law, etc.

That is unless there is the evidence of law breaking or IRS intervention.

Or the customer is Donald J. Trump.  Watch what these banks get from Congress.

I still say with over 75,000,000 --  new gov't is the way to go. Good leadership, good ideas and an excellent ground game (attn: Ted) is far better than a political party that they will shut out via the ballot box by not even allowing ballot access.

Mr. Trump would be well advised to begin moving at least a residual amount of his money out of the reach of the U.S. government, and also consider acquiring property in a country that either doesn't have an extradition treaty with the United States, or perhaps a nation that would be unlikely to deport him upon the demand of the communists (Israel comes to mind).

This whole speculative stock market mark up/ out of control national debt, has created a house of cards that may teeter either way.  Market meltdown, or hyperinflation.  As long as I have been doing this, I still can't give odds on which direction it goes.

I don't have much in banks or the market, really, but not being flush after a few tough years makes the situation all the more rickety. Everything is paid for, it's keeping it up and paying taxes that's the pain. Bills are about 2500/mo otherwise, and that could be cut a little.

And the taxes, especially property taxes, is what worries me the most.   The RL doesn't believe in private ownership of property...only Government should own property (oh, well... and the elitists that run Government).   They have the power to run up those taxes to the level of unaffordability to the middle class (me).   And I predict that they will.   After all, we whitey, Conservative Christians should be made to PAY for everything under the sun.   And pay we will.

I predicted that they would freeze President Trump's assets ...but banks are actually closing his accounts.  They are out to absolutely annihilate him and his family.  You can't very well do business without a banking relationship.  I thought perhaps he might find things more amicable in FL -- not so.  Seriously ... anyone still thinking he's going to start his own party?  A good fundraiser but he won't have the time; he'll be in and out of court till they throw him in jail.

In what can only be seen as private sector political persecution, a Florida bank has become the latest financial institution to dissolve its relationship with former-President Donald Trump over incendiary narratives floated by his detractors.

Bank United, a Florida-based bank, announced it had closed down the former-President’s account, cutting ties with him.

Mr. Trump stated he had two money-market accounts with Bank United with the accounts holding somewhere between $5.1 million and $25.2 million in worth........

.........Another Florida bank, Professional Bank, issued a statement announcing that it was ending its relationship with Mr. Trump last week. In its declaration – again providing no reasoning – the financial institution’s management said it would no longer conduct business with the former-President or his organizations..........

Yeah, I don't pay attention to words so much as deeds, actions and results.   Which is why I never really cared what he tweeted.   Annoying, embarrassing, stupid at times... yes.   But with a roaring economy, a rebuilt military and national defense (the MAIN thing a president is supposed to do) and putting America first, instead of dead last like the rats always do.... I overlooked the stupid sound bytes.
