And that is exactly their motivation.  Marginalize Trump to the point that he can no longer be a threat to them....in any form or venue.  Another good catch.

Every single unconstitutional action the left has taken recently they've used the capitol riot as an excuse. And every single action has a political ulterior motive.

Quite frankly.... and with all "due" respect.... I don't believe a damned thing that you post now.

Especially considering that the entire persecution of Trump since Jan. 6 has been based on yet ANOTHER g'damned leftist lie.
And nary an unkind word for the plagiarizing, intern diddling, chicom payola grabbing, election stealing, former segregationist who liked to shower with his daughter and skinny dip in front of his SS detail.

Of course.   Just as.... every single anti-Trump post and comment (propaganda) against Trump here and on other forums has a political ulterior motive.  It's obvious.

I don't GAS what the godless cretins do in their private, personal lives.... but selling the USA out to commie nations like China is where I draw the line.

But yeah, those still bashing Trump seem to be A-OK with the DemocRat traitors, don't they.

To a point I'd agree. But since the standard was set with x45 might as well carry it forward.

Yes, but.... if another civil war is to be fought (which remains to be seen)....history will not record it as having been fought over Beijing Biden's personal character flaws (depravity).  It will be fought over the treason and sedition we are already seeing proof of.   Making America dependent on foreign oil again is yet another act of treason, for instance.

On another thread I mentioned the oddity of retaining such a large National Guard force in DC till March.  There is no reason to keep those guys there.  Highly speculating, but don't be surprised of some faux generated crisis, or a financial meltdown that will trigger Marshall Law, etc.
@catfish1957

The guard is to remain there until after the Trump Senate trial in case bad guys show up
to cause trouble then.

So....in your bubble of unreality (and untruth)....

the bad guys would not be the ones doing the unconstitutional impeachment....

but the ones opposing it.   Right?

I think something more sinister is afoot.  Financial institutions rarely arbitrarily  close accounts, especially large account holders.

That is unless there is the evidence of law breaking or IRS intervention.

Or the customer is Donald J. Trump.  Watch what these banks get from Congress.

Kind of a stupid banking decision. It just means less money (as much as $25 million) for this bank to lend, which is kind of how banks make their profits.

@mountaineer

Kinda indicates some other funding source has already replaced the shortcomings, with some additonal deposits, doesn't it?

Gee,I wonder where that money could be coming from?

It's "Martial L.aw",and Yes,I agree that IS a definite goal. It is even a necessity because the left can't just seize control if they don't.

We may have already witnesses the last free election in America.

...and they could also freeze all of his assets; including $$ coming in to form a political party.

I still say with over 75,000,000 --  new gov't is the way to go. Good leadership, good ideas and an excellent ground game (attn: Ted) is far better than a political party that they will shut out via the ballot box by not even allowing ballot access.

The communists want nothing less for Mr. Trump and his family than they did for the Romanovs.
(the above comment is not meant to be hyperbole)

Mr. Trump would be well advised to begin moving at least a residual amount of his money out of the reach of the U.S. government, and also consider acquiring property in a country that either doesn't have an extradition treaty with the United States, or perhaps a nation that would be unlikely to deport him upon the demand of the communists (Israel comes to mind).

He may have need for both moves in the future...

Woah ... I thought that banks had to have $ on reserves, but in March 2020, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System reduced reserve requirement ratios to 0%, effectively eliminating them for all depository institutions.

Yep! https://www.investmentwatchblog.com/no-reserve-requirement-the-fed-will-replace-fractional-reserve-banking-with-no-reserve-banking-and-0-interest-rates-thousands-of-banks-now-free-to-create-limitless-amounts-of-loans-without-any-reser/

This whole speculative stock market mark up/ out of control national debt, has created a house of cards that may teeter either way.  Market meltdown, or hyperinflation.  As long as I have been doing this, I still can't give odds on which direction it goes.

I don't have much in banks or the market, really, but not being flush after a few tough years makes the situation all the more rickety. Everything is paid for, it's keeping it up and paying taxes that's the pain. Bills are about 2500/mo otherwise, and that could be cut a little.

And the taxes, especially property taxes, is what worries me the most.   The RL doesn't believe in private ownership of property...only Government should own property (oh, well... and the elitists that run Government).   They have the power to run up those taxes to the level of unaffordability to the middle class (me).   And I predict that they will.   After all, we whitey, Conservative Christians should be made to PAY for everything under the sun.   And pay we will.

The value of my house was jacked by more than the purchase price last time around, a "one year market based correction" in a town that runs on oil money when the price went negative and COVID hit. I asked them "What market?". I get around, and suddenly every apartment complex has "now leasing" signs out, deals posted, and houses are up for sale all over. The market is slack and getting slacker, and they're jacking assessments because it is the only way they can boost revenue (God forbid they cut staff or pay, themselves, when almost everyone not working for Government at one level or another has had to.)

The thing is , I could have said all those things about Trump they did, if I really wanted to say my feelings.   But what would it accomplish?     Even if Trump was slimy and all that, how does it differ from any other politician,  at least we'd finally have one that actually fought for our side.   I don't look a gift horse in the mouth!

Well .... I predicted that they would freeze President Trump's assets ...but banks are actually closing his accounts.  They are out to absolutely annihilate him and his family.  You can't very well do business without a banking relationship.  I thought perhaps he might find things more amicable in FL -- not so.  Seriously ... anyone still thinking he's going to start his own party?  A good fundraiser but he won't have the time; he'll be in and out of court till they throw him in jail.

Florida Bank Closes Donald Trump’s Accounts Without Explanation, More Banks Promise To Follow

In what can only be seen as private sector political persecution, a Florida bank has become the latest financial institution to dissolve its relationship with former-President Donald Trump over incendiary narratives floated by his detractors.

Bank United, a Florida-based bank, announced it had closed down the former-President’s account, cutting ties with him.

Mr. Trump stated he had two money-market accounts with Bank United with the accounts holding somewhere between $5.1 million and $25.2 million in worth........

.........Another Florida bank, Professional Bank, issued a statement announcing that it was ending its relationship with Mr. Trump last week. In its declaration – again providing no reasoning – the financial institution’s management said it would no longer conduct business with the former-President or his organizations..........

Yeah, I don't pay attention to words so much as deeds, actions and results.   Which is why I never really cared what he tweeted.   Annoying, embarrassing, stupid at times... yes.   But with a roaring economy, a rebuilt military and national defense (the MAIN thing a president is supposed to do) and putting America first, instead of dead last like the rats always do.... I overlooked the stupid sound bytes.
