I personally see no point in further discussion of anything that goes on in the now failed USA.

Failure to recognize that it is a failed state now is willful blindness as far as I'm concerned and I will not engage in any discussion that does not recognize the fact.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Meanwhile McConnell is asking for delaying the trial till February.  Giving Trump time to prepare (gee isn't that considerate of him).

Prepare against what?  Not a single piece of evidence has been submitted against President Trump.  Not a single shred.  Zip.  Nada.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

Really???

I personally don't think that to be true at all.  WE have not survived eight years of Obama/Biden/Soros and the current situation bears true witness to that FACT!

Yes, we have.   We're still alive and conversing openly on an internet forum.   Nobody really knows what will happen.   All we have is supposition on how bad things will get.

Well, I/we will survive, if not the nation we grew up in.

And things will play out the way He intended them to.

Yes. We are alive and conversing but that does not mean that the USA has survived.  It definitely hasn't IMHO.

I wonder how many Americans understand just how profoundly their nation changed last November 3rd.

IMO it cannot be overstated.

It has not changed much at all. You want to see change? When you see massive deregulation, and massive reductions in spending, massive reductions in size - and a balanced budget. Then you'll know actual change has come.

The government big enough to save you is big enough to force you - and it will. Every.single.time.

Impeachment is now more for the purpose of distracting the American people from the immediate devastation Biden quickly invoked upon taking over.  Fuel prices quickly rising, thousands of high paying jobs of the XL pipeline instantly ending, Canadians heavily impacted, with democrats even before inauguration having thousands of south of the border foreigners headed here to take what jobs there are.  No one can tell what is going to happen?  How about the ignorant and ill informed, dupes and fools are clueless as to whats happening and about to!
A few elections back democrats swore to West Virginians they were not anti-Coal just before the election.  After the election they shut down West Virginias coal industry.  Same with Wisconsin over the XL pipeline.
You can't protect fools from consequences of their actions,  they will have their way, often unto destruction, how they love it when the wicked lie to them.

All true, and the MSM will report what they want the liberal public to focus on and most of them will be none the wiser.  You are right; the ignorant and ill informed are clueless and as long as the media keeps pushing Sloe Joe as doing a great job, they will believe it because that 's what they see on the news (for those that even watch the news).

You can't make stupid smart.

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Can we please start with a SC ruling on whether or not the impeachment clause --- the only way to remove a sitting President from office --- can be used against a private citizen??????????????????

Do you mean by the same SCOTUS which flagrantly failed to do its duty as required by the constitution on December 11, 2020?  You've GOT to be kidding me!

If SCOTUS allows this, directly or indirectly, then I want every President --- past and present --- on this same hook.  @Bigun

Want in one hand a crap in the other and see which one gets full first!  Banana republics don't care what you want and the rules are just as the impeached and removed from office former federal judge and now a congressman from Florida Alcee Hastings said they were "We make them up as we go along"!

How about where we go from here while recognizing the FACT that the USA is just another banana republic on the face of the earth?

Or when an alternative form of freedom of speech has to come from the Russians..  (Parler).  We are worse than a banana republic....   We are speeding in head strong like 1950 USSR.
