Lou Dobbs rails against GOP establishment: ‘Why in the world would any Republican stay in the party?’
January 22, 2021 | Vivek Saxena

According to Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs, while Wednesday marked the end of Donald Trump’s presidency, it certainly didn’t mark the end of the Trump era.

Speaking Thursday on Fox Business Network’s Lou Dobbs Tonight, the unabashed Trump-supporting host opined that because of the Republican Party establishment’s treachery, it’s time for Trump’s desired Patriot Party to take over.

At issue, Dobbs began during a discussion with Rep. Matt Gaetz, is how Republicans have continually “sold out” the American people.

“[T]his party sold out to corporate America and Wall Street long ago, and … they have far too much influence with Republicans and the Republican Party leadership,” he said.

“And I’m talking about McConnell, I’m talking about McCarthy and before him Paul Ryan. They sold out working men and women in this country just like the Democrats have, and President Trump changed all of it.”

While Gaetz is one Republican who hasn’t sold out, the host continued, he’s a rare breed.

“You have been a terrific defender of the president, the America First policies, and advocate for those policies. Not enough of your colleagues in the House have done so,” he said.

And that’s why, Dobbs added, the time for the Patriot Party’s emergence is NOW.
