Democrat Held Senate Unveils Its First Bill Will Be A Voting Rights Bill Called "For The People Act of 2021"

 By Marmee Rooke
Published January 19, 2021 at 9:34am

The Senate Democrats unveiled their first bill signaling a new Congress has started. The bill will be called “For the People Act of 2021” and will be broken up into three sections: voting rights, campaign finance, and ethics.

The bill dedicates six sections to “promoting internet registration.” The bill forces all states to change their voter registration laws to allow for people to register to vote online, including the use of the internet to update registration information; provision of election information by electronic mail to individuals registered to vote; clarification of requirement regarding necessary information to show eligibility to vote; prohibiting States from requiring applicants to provide more than the last 4 digits of their Social Security number.

Right now in Washington D.C., they are checking the political affiliations of the National Guard members sent to protect Congress and Biden, and yet they want to prohibit states from “requiring applicants to provide more than the last 4 digits of their Social Security number.”

In fact, the new bill allows for the applicant to prove they are a valid voter by simply completing the application and swearing that what they entered was correct. Nowhere in the new bill does it say the applicant has to prove with a photo I.D they are who they say they are.

Even if the applicant requires a social security number, Congress wants to lower the requirement to the last four digits. After the 2020 election and all the doubt and theories surrounding the outcome, the American people begged for election reform.

This sounds like countries that have “People’s Republic”  as part of their countries name

Except the people are being screwed and oppressed
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

Nothing could be more "comradely" than that! Don't believe me? Just ask the Nazi's or the Red Guard.

And THAT,is how they plan on staying in power forever, folks. Like their hero Stalin used to say,"It doesn't matter who votes or who they vote for. What matters is who counts the votes."

The Dims have just updated it to adapt to modern times.

I do NOT want to hear you or any of the other anti-Trump whiners complaining about this. You lost the right to complain when you refused to vote for Trump in what is likely to have been the last actual FREE AND OPEN election held in this country.

There are two problems with Socialism: 1) You can vote yourself in, but have to shoot your way out.
2) Eventually you run out of other people's money.
In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

Suck it up francis. I lost nothing. Next time, support a conservative and you and me won't have these problems. So tough shit too bad - You don't get to tell me what to do.

I vote as I see fit And there ain't you or no man other that can take that away. Y'all that think that way ain't any damn different than democrats. It's called Individualism, and it's what Conservatives do. I don't march in lockstep for no damn body.

You don't like it, stick it up your ass, and mind your own damn business.

@sneakypete

Ain't pig-headed at all. Principle based and with an established criteria. That's called thinking.

I don't care who you are or what your excuses, you ain't gonna get me to cross that to vote for what I don't want, in fear of what I don't want.

You get more of what you vote *for*, so I vote for what I want.

'Pig-headed' would be one unable to see the reason in that. And 'stupidity' would be doing the same thing all over again to receive the same result - Which you are receiving now.

Populism is a great sugar high, but it is gone too soon, and then comes the belly ache. Thanks anyhow, but I'll stick to Conservatism.

"...clarification of requirement regarding necessary information to show eligibility to vote..."

The above is the critical part - different states have different ways to determine if the person is qualified to be a voter.  The above is an effort to have the same qualification(s) requirement(s) for each state.  This is a good thing.

Proof of "eligibility to Vote"  to a rat means two things:

1: You have a pulse
2:  If absence of a pulse, you are buried in the USA

And having the feds dictate that to the states, which they sho' 'nuff will, is 'Game Over'.

@roamer_1

Yes it is.  If you had worked in politics for 16 years, you would know that.

We have federal election laws already that states must follow.  After the 2000 Florida screw-up, federal election laws were made to make state election laws more uniform.  I was there when those new federal laws required states to write laws that met new federal laws.  Every one of those new laws were good and that needed to happen.

If you fit either of those descriptions the meaning can be expanded to read "eligibility to vote several times".

no it is not. Watch what happens. Fed dictates that everyone use online voting. Fed dictates minimal ID for voting. And then voting is truly lost.

You assume benevolence, I assume corruption.

"ETHICS"?????

Yes, ethics.  Ethics are now things decided by "ethics boards" and Congressional mandates, arbitrary human-made rules that sound good to someone who will then insist that everyone follow them and in which mandatory trainings can be made conditions of employment, not natural law, not divinely given morality (which Democrats, even the ones who use their ancestral Christian faith in campaign ads, don't really believe exists) just something someone made up.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.

Doesn't matter anyway. Whatever your vote is, it can easily be changed or "lost" (as the Democrats call it).
The "number of votes" involved is irrelevant. No matter what the initial outcome of any election is, Dems can always seem to "find" just enough votes to win.

Can't understand why the Dems want illegals to vote when it doesn't matter.
Since they control the voting machines and the vote counting, Dems can make the vote whatever they want it to be no matter how many people vote. We have seen that first hand.

If the vote is 20, or 20,000 or 20,000,000 what difference does it make? Why do they care?
Democrats/China/Communists now have the means, the knowledge, and the technology to make any election whatever they want it to be.

Numbers and actual votes have no meaning.
If a retarded sleepy dementia patient can get 80,000,000 votes, then my dog could get at least 50,000,000 votes provided I know the right people.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.

And that, in the end, is the whole problem.
