CNN poll: Melania Trump leaving office as least popular first lady ever

Melania Trump is leaving the White House as the least popular first lady ever, according to a new poll.

The former model was given a 47 percent unfavorability rating by respondents to a CNN/SSRS survey released on Sunday.

Trump is dramatically more unpopular than any previous first lady at the end of a presidential term, according to the cable network. The average unfavorability rating for a first lady before Trump is 21 percent.

The news outlet noted that the only other first lady to exit the White House with an unfavorability rating below 40 percent was Hillary Clinton, who was unpopular with 39 percent of those polled in 2001.

The latest poll numbers came as Trump released a farewell message on Monday as she prepared to leave the executive mansion, calling her time as first lady "the greatest honor in my life."

Well of course she is; the assclowns in the media managed to write not a single positive story about her over the entire 4 years.

Seriously?

Their vicious treatment of Melania really shows their lack of character. I mean this woman did NOTHING wrong other than to be married to someone that CNN hates. She's stayed 100% apolitical. They could have treated her fairly without negatively impacting their war with her husband. That they instead chose to try and destroy her too speaks volumes.

I’ve been called twice for Gallup polls, back when I had a landline. Dang things were about half hour each.

One was during Clinton’s presidency and the other time was during W’s.
