Does anyone believe the "DC Green Zone" is only temporary?


 This is totally guess work on my part but does anyone believe that the DC Green Zone is temporary?

I mean think about it.

We've been told that the possibility of "attacks" on state houses and the nation's capital is real.  Additionally we've been told that they take these threats seriously.

If all this is true then how can this thing end after the inauguration?

I'll reckon a good number of barriers that have gone up in DC aren't coming down any time soon.

And the troops that watch them won't be leaving soon, either.

Of course not. They are taking a page from their idols in the old USSR,and only "trusted comrades" will be "allowed" to live in DC.

They will start small,by relocating people who live close to the WH and other key buildings,and if things go well for them,they will eventually seize every building in DC "in the name of national security" and then repopulate them with  "trustworthy comrades".

I suspect we might start to see "green zones" in many of the large cities, such as Portland, to "control the violence."  That way there will be ready troops spread around the country to "help" smaller cities with their violence. It would, coincidentally, add an armed presence throughout the country to "protect" Americans from "violent' conservatives.
