Exclusive: Long-withheld Pentagon survey shows widespread racial discrimination, harassment

By Phil Stewart

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Nearly a third of Black U.S. military servicemembers reported experiencing racial discrimination, harassment or both during a 12-month period, according to results of a long-withheld Defense Department survey that underscore concerns about racism in the ranks.

The 2017 survey, whose results have not previously been reported, also showed that U.S. troops who experienced racial discrimination or harassment had high levels of dissatisfaction with the complaint process and largely did not report it.

The data support the findings of a 2020 Reuters investigation here, which found that servicemembers feared that reporting discrimination would likely backfire and was not worth the risk.

The people at the top thought there might be racism and commissioned a study and, BAM, there it was.  What they found was they were the ones who perpetuated racism, not the little guy because the officer corps had the authority to stop it but did nothing.  Of course they will never admit this to be true. :pondering:

They're fools then. They are inviting interference by leftist politicians that will only weaken the armed forces.

Hmmm....
Stop right there and think for a moment.

Considering the forced march towards communism this country is on the verge of experiencing, perhaps a "weakened" military is what we need.

Weakened to the point where there erupts "a schism" between that part of it that will blindly follow orders from the communists, and another faction that prefers freedom.

A "divided military" may become the only pathway forward to vanquishing a communist-controlled government, and to restoring the traditional Constitutionally-governed America of the founders...

While there is plenty of worry about foreign enemies, the big worry should be domestic enemies, namely the democrat party.  I guess it could be called the Soros party.  The democrats argued the D.C. riots the military couldn't be used in the cities of America and then go ahead and do it which only proves nothing they say can be trusted. tri22
