PHOTOS: Feds Build Walls in D.C. for Anti-Border Wall Joe Biden, Kamala Harris

The federal government has constructed security walls and fencing across Washington, DC, in anticipation of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris’s inauguration on January 20, even as both are opposed to such barriers at the nation’s international borders.

Following riots at the United States Capitol on January 6, the federal government has ordered 25,000 National Guardsmen to Washington, DC, and the construction of barriers around the nation’s historic landmarks to protect from potential unrest.

In photos, crews can be seen erecting barriers with razor wire around the U.S. Capitol. Likewise, similar barriers have been placed along streets in Washington, DC, and around the reflecting pool which sits in between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument.

While the barriers will be in place through next week’s inauguration, Biden has promised to stop all construction of wall at the U.S.-Mexico border and has claimed that such barriers do not reduce illegal crossings, though federal data indicates otherwise.

Unbelievable. They have caused the insurrection that took place and by the looks of it they are expecting even more if not a full blown civil war or revolution; they will cower in their bunkers and safe spaces in the WH.  They are fools.

The wall around Washington, D.C., is the "Trump Wall", not the Biden Wall.  Once Trump is no longer president for a period of time, the danger will be gone and the wall will be gone. 

Government law enforcement agencies say every state capital is in danger until Trump is no longer president this coming week.  Right now, every state capital is being protected until he is gone.  These measures are due to Trump, not Biden.

From this point onward, people here will say I love Biden just as they have said I hate Trump.  I have said from the beginning of Trump's first campaign, I think he has a severe mental disorder and should not be president. 

Democrats chose Biden; I didn't.  I have no idea how he and Harris will govern.  There is no need for a learning curve as both of them know how government works because they have been there in Washington, D.C., for years.

We need peace in our lives instead of government chaos everyday.  This remains to be seen as new people take over.

Biden is not president yet.  So who ordered this to be done?  Congress would have to approve the money needed to build this and the Senate would have to approve and the President would have had to sign this fence being built into law???

Who is authorizing the deployment of the national guard?

Would all of this not have to be coming from the executive branch and ultimately Trump as the Commander In Chief??

Otherwise there have been orders coming from somewhere to build this, that are being directed from some entity that is sidestepping the Constitution.

Well I for one am looking at the bright side of a Biden presidency.

For example, my governor and state legislature have spent themselves into a coma and desperately need a big chunk of that 2 trillion "Covid relief" bill Biden is floating (and auntie Pelosi will pass) to pay down all their ridiculous state spending.

I mean, I'd much rather other states like Texas share the load to make good on all that debt. That way we Californians won't have to pay for it all ourselves.

Plus now that Trump's out of the way there'll be no more reason for greasy Gavin to keep us locked down after he gets his dough.
