I'm coming to the conclusion that there are but a handful of conservatives left in D.C. I was surprised at McCarthy speaking out against Trump.

Why did he wait so long?    I'm glad he finally spoke up;  if he'd done so in the immediate wake of the violence,  I would not have expressed my preference that he resign.
