House will vote on measure urging Pence to remove Trump from office

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told fellow Democrats on Sunday night that the House will take up a measure on Monday calling on Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove President Trump from office for being unfit.
The California Democrat said lawmakers will attempt to pass the measure by unanimous consent, and if Republicans block it, as they are likely to do, the House will reconvene Tuesday for a vote on the matter, she added.
The resolution calls on Pence to convene the Cabinet and declare Trump “incapable of executing the duties of his office and to immediately exercise powers as acting President.â€
Following that vote, Pelosi said, the House will take up a resolution to impeach Trump.
