Looking back and ahead
« on: January 10, 2021, 05:14:23 pm »
The Democrats have won by ways
they only, could contrive
By votes from those not citizens
From those dead; not alive

They used machines that flipped the votes
from Trump's to Biden's side
Our watchers stuck a mile away
So perfidy could hide

The gleeful media proclaim
He's won and now should serve
Considering that Dems. stole the thing
They have a lot of nerve

But many folks don't buy this line
From those who lie and cheat
They've thrown safety to the winds
and taken to the street.

Whereupon they are attacked
By fascists of the left
And left-wing so-called, "journalists"
With integrity bereft

Some fought bravely to preserve
That which now is lost
But misguided have prevailed
And now we'll pay the cost.

Free speech and the right to bear
Will wane before our eyes
And schools where knowledge once prevailed
the left will proselytize

Overseas, our foes rejoice
And gather their warheads
While clueless Joe and Kamala
Seek racists under beds

I fear how all of this will end
My hopes are not too high
Unless we see a miracle
America could die

Nice job.  Welcome to TBR.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Moved to "General Discussion."

@mikezpen  the "News" categories are for published articles.  Alternatively, one of the Categories under "Exclusive Content" can also be used for original material.  I do like this poem!

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

Great poem!  A very warm welcome @mikezpen to TBR.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
