The Rise of a Technological New World Order

In 2013, Gordon Duff rightly argued that the NSA doesn’t protect the United States and is a waste of money. As a case study, Duff pointed out that the NSA couldn’t even be used to propagate the war in Iraq. It was people like Paul Wolfowitz, said Duff, “who made up crazy lies about Iraq.” The scholarly literature was on Duff’s side.[1]

The NSA played no part in the war in Iraq. But it did and still does play a major part in snooping on virtually every single American and country around the world, despite the fact that there was no evidence showing that NSA bulk surveillance stopped terrorist activities,[2] and despite the fact that we spent billions upon billions of dollars on the program.[3]

In short, the NSA was and still is a form of control. But we do have another form of control that seems to be more powerful than the NSA now, and it’s what John W. Whitehead calls the “Technological (New) World Order.”
