So, the week after vaccines became available for the current plague, a new one pops up to create a new panic, and refresh the tyranny of the shutdowns and masks. I guess it was determined the previous effort to destroy the nation was inadequate.
Color me surprised.

There is a massive surge in southern/west England. It is massive in southern Wales. There are no hospital beds in Wales. This is due to the new variant. No one can leave London. No one can leave Wales.
These countries will not allow flights from the UK to land: "Kuwait, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Israel, Belgium, Sweden, France, Ireland, Austria".
My family lives in southern Wales. They cannot leave their house except for groceries/doctor/physical exercise. (It is also too cold to stay out and exercise.) They bought an indoor exercise bike. They have groceries delivered to the house twice a week. Both of them have good jobs and work from home. They are lucky as so many cannot do that.
